  1. yeah it pushes out the same horse power at 150bhp, It would be nice if only a lil pricey,
  2. Weve just finished an ABF conversion, you get quite a bit more power for about the same weight as what you have already. Thing is after finishing it off (ish, these things are never finished, always somin to tweak) you notice theres not much more space left!! it left 5-10mm before hitting the bonnet and close as you like to the suspension strut. So thats where the money part comes in, because you would then need to buy/make new mounts, maybe cut into the firewall if you go bigger, so then relocate/more buying, brake lines, abs pump, steering rack, brake master cylinder, exhaust and goes on with stuff we always forget. What ever way you go i really recommend doing it yourself, we know sooo much about the engine now and how it all works and the wiring. It really make you feel that the car is yours and REALLY belongs to you, and is custom to you. We stripped the whole engine down, bought all new parts and built it back up, and we have NEVER stripped an engine down before!! Suck a good felling when it all goes back together and runs smooth as you like. Personally i would get a decent engine, erm... say the ABF  . And bolt on a nice turbo and tune it all up, and the car you have left will be awsome! Oh if you get the abf get it with the car still attached, your need the bits. Best of luck on your project/wallet
  3. Im liking the A-TEAM option!!! although they may steal your bike to make a tank out of its 17th spoke on the rear wheel :D
  4. burnt sucks even more! Ahh but I have two rado's outside my house and you have none! hahaha :norty:
  5. or was it the one on the side of the engine? :D
  6. We had the same issue with the engine revving when it should be at idle. it would climb up to 2000 then drop, sometimes would start climbing again and repeat. We havent got the lambda sensor connected lol! I would say its your lambda! Your MPG is massively effected by your lambda
  7. just changed the 8v engine out of a corrado and put an abf 16v valve in. The cable on that went directly back to the firewall, then along the back and forward again to the battery
  8. This is rusty's head off the car. it's at top dead center in the pic, i must say i agree with bolting it back up bit by bit across all bolts Oh sorry about all the tissue... Rusty got a bit excited by engine internals!! :norty:
  9. dont leave it off the car too long after you use the carb cleaner. On rusty's car, the car wouldn't idile at all for a while after that. Had to give it a good thrash to clear it out! In was told soaking it in petrol over night sorted it out perfectly
  10. jubilee clip holding the hose onto the intake manifold? I can't remember quite how we did it, but i think it was the worm drive pushing against the throttle cable/throttle body. We just moved it away and no problems
  11. The old 205!!!!!! I LOVED LOVED LOVED my other halfs one of those! Even though it was a diesil it was bat out of hell and its jelly susspension made me laght so hard, but somehow made it round the most demanding corners!!! Great fun to drive, i'd buy another one if i had money going spare!!! Good times :D
  12. Damn right! But i fixed it last night! FIXED BY THE UK lol
