I have a 30 relay in slot 3 on the fuse board is this the one as I've just been quoted over £50 for that one at motorserv.

He also said it was the fuel pump relay which seems wrong.

Hi I'm looking for some help/advise.

My 91 g60 seems to have developed an intermittent fault with the power running to the isv, i think it's a problem with the black/yell stripe cable sometimes getting power then other times no power resulting in the engine cutting out or not starting.

When I connect a permanent live to the isv bk/yell cable the car runs fine but obviously will not switch off with the ignition.

I've changed the ignition sw with a new genuine part and that has not helped.

I think it might be a relay but witch one?

Any help or advice would be great as the MOT is next week and I need to sort it.

Yep - there's an interfering signal on 433.9MHz - could be a jammed wireless doorbell

yes that was the problem. our door bell kept jamming about a year ago so we just took the battery out of the chime and thought no more. I've taken the battery out of the push button and all is working fine.

my key fob for my car and van do not work on my drive, my next door neighbours key fob will not work and his neighbours fob wont either. but they all work when away from the houses. Whats going on ? any ideas :confused4:

ive got a problem with my toad C5T2 alarm. every now and then when the car is locked the fob stops working. its not the fob because the spare one will not work ether and ive tried a new battery.

it wont disarm it using the pin code/key and i end up disconnecting the car battery to stop siren

Then sometimes when i reconnect the battery it all works fine. :confused4:

this has happened only 3 times in the last year.

any help appreciated.

mine had a similar problem, but the fan would not cut in when the car was running as well.

a new rad switch sorted it. :thumb right:

yeah I dont want to make the thing undriveable and I dont really like the look of it slammed on standard wheels....OEM look is for me !!

Was even thinking of raising the back slightly

i was going to say drop the front a bit, but looks good :thumb right:

buy new rad switch.

ok from what ive read this will fix the fan over run prob but will it sort out the fan not coming on when the car is running problem, sorry to sound dumb.

if this is all i need anyone got a part number or is it ok to get a non vw one

ive got a problem with the radiator fan on my g60, it does not cut in when the car is running, if im stuck in traffic or if the car is idling for long periods it will overheat.

but when i turn the ignition off the fan cuts in sometimes non stop and i have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to stop.

is the rad stat the problem ?

any help would be great
