Yep they are really easy. The hardest part is getting the originial silencer box off. You need to use a socket drive with a universal joint and extension as you cant see the nut holding it on. You need to put it in at an angle to get the alignment. We used a smartphone camera with a light to make sure we on properly. It's not hard just a bit fiddly. I have just taken my charger out as I have had it rebuilt so will put it all back on at the same time :)

Yeah thanks for the link Mike. Yep it is G-werks the seller id is the same as the number plate on their mk4 golf. I think I was searching for RSR outlet which is probably why nothing came up!!

Good work. I searched the other day but didn't find anything. Spoke to G-werks a while ago and they had an order list for them and weren't sure when they would have them in stock. Going to order one now. That was a more successful post than I was expecting!!

Thanks for the replies. Will have a look at the boost pipe tomorrow when its light. I have got a feeling mine needs a re-build...I just get a smoke screen behind my car when I put my foot down...bit embarrassing but quite funny when overtaking cyclists :lol: Using Synta Silver 10w-40, I thought that could be the problem to start with as I was unsure what the mechanic who done the work used. I changed it straight away to be on the safe side. Has made no difference though

Hi Guys, I have got blue smoke coming out of my exhaust, it is especially obvious when under full throttle. I also get a puff of smoke on start up every morning although this appears to be a bit whiter. I have had a lot of work done recently on my block including valve stem seals and am pretty confident that the engine itself is in a good condition. At the same time as the engine work I also had a rebuilt Jabba stage 4 charger put on as the charger on my car had no history of a rebuild in 65 000 miles. Although I think the charger I have put on may have been lying around for a while before I got hold of it and I think the seals may have dried out hence the burning oil. Was just wondering if this sounds reasonable, and if there is anything else it could be? If it is the charger then I will arrange for a rebuild at Gwerks in the near future. Cheers Jamie
