Hi, does anyone know the part number for the catalytic converter on a 2.0l 16v 1993 C? Thanks in advance

It's a 1993 Corrado. I've read a few threads about cats and the rules but a garage in Cardiff offered to supply and fit a decat pipe for under £100 and they did warn me that it wouldn't be road legal. I've put a thread in the wanted section for a cat and have an answer but do you know if the VR6 cat is different from the 16v? Thanks

For the past few days my exhaust has been making a sound very similar to a baby's rattle and today after taking it to my local garage found out that I need a new CAT converter. :cry: The guy in the garage said that I should find out if they do a decat pipe for it? Does anyone know if I can get hold of one? If yes, where. Thanks

Mines on just over 104K and moving on very quickly.

Ever since I bought my car (Feb 2002) the central locking has been so tempremental. I dont have remote CLocking only key. The passenger side door hasn't given me any probs what so ever but the drivers door will not work. When I open the driver's door it will only open the driver's door and the dead locks are still active. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

I've still had no word from the dealer yet. The good thing I guess is that I haven't paid for it yet!

Do I keep with the originals and spend £150 on refurbishment or do I fork out for a new set? Decisions, decisions?!? Thanks anyway :lol:

Thought so. I've had my C for nearly two years now and have been looking everywhere for an induction kit (unsuccessfully). So, I ended up buying a K&N drop in. But when the guy from my local store said he called Pipercross and spoke with the 'technical guy' he said that he has had many queries for PK233c and if it would fit the 16v 2.0l and he said it would. :x Shall I cancel the order do u think?

I was told that the following Model from Pipercross would fit the 16v 2.0l....PK223c. Even though speaking with many other people, my local dealer called Pipercross and they said this would fit. Please tell me it would because on his recommendation I ordered one for bout £85 :oops:
