  5. Hi there,I am willing to manufacture a plastic injection mould tool to produce the script badge as long as I'm not treading on anyone's toes that is,also would not really like to go head to head with another supply as I realise numbers are going to be relatively low anyhow,I'm just looking into the cost for the crome/silver coating now and will keep you posted!if anyone is thinking of making a mould would they let me know as I won't bother, regards mark
  6. I was quoted £2.50 per bolt today! times that by 20 and its a fair chunk, will do a bit more shopping around tommorrow,I tried my usual bolt supplier as I wanted to supply a top quality adapter set,if I use cap heads or hex heads there as cheap as chips but I priced up the splined bodied bolts that press in,the ones that the other adapter manufacturers use.If anyone knows of any other suppliers of the splined type at a reasonable price let me know, cheers mark
  7. Hi guys,I've been researching adapters again today,I've been looking to price up the extended bolts that are required,I'm not going to be able to include them for the £100 per set I quoted because of the cost of them, unless I can't find a supplier of them that will do a bulk buy at a reasonable price, hope this still sounds ok,mark
  8. Hi everyone interested in adapters! I've done some research on the Internet over the last few days to find out what grade of aluminium other suppliers use and it's 6018,I've priced up the billets and all they are gonna come in around at £100 for 4,hope this sounds ok,let me know your thoughts guys, thanks mark
  9. Yeah most of the ones I've seen or heard of have been aluminium,I will price up the aircraft grade Ali bar in the morning to get an accurate price for anyone interested, obviously the bigger quantity I order the cheaper it will be, so I will try rustling up so more interest so I can get the costs down as much as possible, cheers

  13. Hi guys,I own an engineering shop with all the machinery required to make adapters or even cnc milled parts,I also have an apprentice that could use a little extra pocket money,if you send me your requirements ie dimensions- inside diameters, outside diameters, widths, hole PCD's and material requirment, I am sure I can be competitive and help you guys out along the way,not sure if this is allowed on the forum but I can only try,one question what type of steel is normally used?cheers mark
  14. Hi there,no sign of fuel getting to it and it does have an immobiliser fitted.
  15. Hi there, ive got an electrical problem with my vr6.I bought it about a year and a half ago and only got to drive it the 20 miles back to my unit where it was parked up for a month or so while i relocated my business to a bigger unit on the estate. When i did eventually try to move it the battery was flat!here is where it all starts to go wrong, stupidly i tried jump starting it with my forklift,i know what an IDIOT.Anyhow its now a none starter and has been at a couple of garages that have both given up on it!so far its had a fusebox and ecu (kindly supplied by toedef)very helpful guy indeed. The transponder reader was also supplied to match the ecu.Two experienced auto electricians have both worked on the car and still no joy.The last garage has said i should give up now and sell it as is or break it.The car is a n reg 1 owner car that i think is to good to break.I thought i would just asked on here to see if anyone has any suggestions, fingers crossed and thanks for reading this post.
