Yeah sure. I will get it working! This is my first repair needed and I cannot be defeated!

Both my outside air temp and horn both work. I'll have a better look when it's a bit sunnier/warmer. Just a shame because the fogs make my car look sweet!
-
I'll check that next. I am correct in thinking there is one fuse for both foglights right? I dug out my old multimeter to find that I'd left it on and now requires a new battery :mad2:

I bought a Corrado last week and I'm well happy with it so far! I noticed in the reflection of a shop window (checking out the 'rado) that only one foglight is working. I got the bulb out and it seems to be brand spanking new and work when I hook it up to my drill battery. This must mean that the wire's dead but the other foglight works fine so I assume it's not the fuse?! Any quick fixes or suggestions for my to try? I'm new to this German car malarkey!

17 inch would definitely be big enough for me. Thanks for your help. It's a very close call between old school light-weight BBS rims or modern Audi style.
-
I get the feeling I'd need it lowered to stop it looking like an off-roader! But yeah I like those last few pics.
-
It does say 100/112 so does that not mean they'll fit both? I won't get scrubbing issue or anything will I? Car's not lowered.

I'm pretty new here and I'm not sure if this is sacrilege but do any members here have Audi RS4 style wheels on their Corrado? This sort of thing: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/17-RS8-Style-Allo ... 1977wt_939 Will 17"s fit okay?
-
I think that is correct as the guy said how it was owned by a bank manager for a while as a second car and just left in a garage. I'll be buying it as soon as I sell my car! What good places are there to buy Corrado stuff like badges, wipers, etc?
-
Hey! Stop badmouthing my Coupe :nono: But yeah both inside and out were less rattly. Bring on the Corrado!
-
I like my Hyundai Coupe but it's just a tad slow. The sort of car I'd recommend to my mum!
-
The reg is ********* -- reg removed at current owners request [MODS] It seems lovely on the inside, has original first aid kit and warning triangle and rattles less than my 2002 Hyundai Coupe. Thanks!

Also just make sure I'm not getting ripped off: it's a 1992 VR6 with 105k miles on the clock for £2000. Generally good condition especially on the inside but bonnet could use a respray. Is this reasonable?

Here's the link: http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/HOW-TO-TEST-F ... 0001891247 So if it did have a gasket failure between cylinder and coolant galley it would have burst out much more dramatically? Hope it's alright as I'm buying it as soon as I sell my car! Can't wait to buy it and take a photo for you all!

I went to see a Corrado last week and it seems rather nice and well cared for. However, after a big drive I was checking the engine bay and he was pointing out where the coolant was and just took the cap off ignoring my "watch out mate, might be hot". Anyway, the coolant seemed to boil up and spilled out of the reservoir before calming down again. I read a guide on ebay on how to spot head gasket failure and this was one of the signs. I figured most cars would do that and it's just caused by the pressure drop causing the water to boil. What do you guys think?
