  1. bushes need to be pretty shocking to fail a mot...chances are theyre past their best

Music to my ears.......cheers. Anyone know how long this takes labour-wise. Don't fancy tackling it myself :camp:

  2. Hi all,

Funnily enough, I need some advice because it passed! I then thought I'd get a 4-wheel alignment done to celebrate and the guy said "there's no point doing it, your rear axle bushes are fubar'd".

There's a bucket load of play on the rear wheels and it's passed the MOTwithout a mention? Shouldn't it have failed?

Secondly, can anyone give a rough idea of the cost of replacement? At least I know why my car hates potholes and ruts.

    Thanks in advance.

    Neil

  3. Evening all,

have been trawling through page after page on the forum, looking for some peachy wheels for my new toy and chanced upon this lovely looking example. This is what I'm aiming for as mine is currently wearing 17" ASA's, which are very nice but not OEM enough for my liking. The car pictured i exactly what I'm aiming for

Got my car at the weekend (1992 VR6, 107k, green pearl effect) and will get some pics up soon.

    Thanks in advance
