i thought that initialy but checked and all good its the 3500 rpm thing that i cant get my head around all gears any speed

hi guys i have a 90 g plate 1.8 16v corrado i have been slowly doing bits to it to bring it to a reasonable level but im really stuck i have a sort of vibrating/rubbing/something but the strange thing is it will only make this noise at 3500 rpm all gears any speed now i know you will say exhaust but it is deffo not the exhaust i have removed all heat shields too to see if it was that now i dont feel it through the steering wheel or the gear stick only through the floor under my feet all wheel bearings have also been replaced any and all help would be greatfuly recieved

i need a new exhaust for my car looking to get a stainless i have a mate scrapping a mk2 golf with a good exhaust just wondering if it will fit the corrado or are they shorter cheers for any help ps its 1.8 16v as is the golf

just in case anyone is interested i posted a bit prematurely i had to buy some wheel bolts today as mine had 17mm 19mm and lockers with no key so bought 8 bolts purley for no reason at all i thought to put all 8 on the front wheels and put the ratty 17mm ones left on the rear just been out for a bit of a play (see what i could pick on 325i bmw) the vibration has completly gone and the bmw lost his bottle on the roundabout :salute:

have been doing alot of reading on here about dead top mounts and vibration i have been out today and had the car tracked and wheels balanced but the vibration is still there 50-60 mph ish would worn top mounts cause the vibration? i have checked lower arms bearings antirollbar drop links engine mounts nothing has excessive play after looking at post how to identify knackered top mounts i figure mine are poo but would this cause the vibration i am getting cheers ron
