Fault codes can still be read with or without a scan tool,best use a plug lead removal tool as they do break easily,check all the vac and intake pipes post maf as they can be brittle with age

Vcds is vag-com,diagnostic software,or a cheap obd scanner might connect to check fault codes

Someone might as well delete this thread if there is no one here....corrado is near finished with new paint,holset charged vr6,470cc injectors,3in exhaust with twtin flushed side exit exhausts and 1 resonator,17in split rims,tt brakes,custom coilovers,suede and leather trim.
