  1. I’ve just put 12 months mot on the car , it flew through with no advisories.

I’m thinking  I’ve judged the market wrong. Have I priced this too high? There are no other yellow g60 currently for sale that I’ve seen. I have listed it  on car and classic and Facebook market place . Can anyone make any suggestions? I was contemplating  selling on eBay, has anyone had much experience with this? I would really like the car to an enthusiast .

  2. Hi Cressa

this looks like a service many Corrado members need. Are you able to provide a photo?

If the quality is good I may post my sunroof covet to them for retrimming.

  3. Welcome to the sale advert of my Volkswagen Corrado vr6 storm edition.

1 of 250 mystic blue storms ever made. Currently mileage if 213,000. Don’t let this put you off , it’s been meticulously maintained. 12 months mot.

One of the most comprehensive service history’s I’ve seen, 17 service stamps in total 16 of which are Volkswagen main dealer services all the way to 185,000 and last service carried out by a specialist at 205,000 miles using all genuine vw filters , oil and spark plugs . No expense spared there is a large folder of receipts covering all repairs and parts over the years. Including timing chains and clutch a few thousands miles ago.

Along with water pump, coolant pipes and temps sensors.

Miltek stainless steel cat back exhaust in as new condition (produces a lovely tone and not too loud)

Poly bushed rear beam and front wishbone bushes done just over 1500 miles ago.Power flex black series front engine mount.

Full black leather interior including heated front seats.

Electric Sunroof that work well mechanism fully rebuilt with genuine cables and components a few years back.

    Electric front windows and mirrors

Electric spoiler fully working that rises at 55 mph.

    2 sets of keys

All four calipers, discs and pads replaced recently.

Refurbished alloys .continental tyres up front and Avon’s at the rear.

Clean bodywork for the year ,it’s does have some laquer peel on the bonnet and rear panel. And small amount of rust on the passenger door but overall quite  presentable for its age.

If I was to keep this I would get the bonnet and rear panel repainted.

Unfortunately the car was a cat D damaged and repaired 2 years ago when someone caught the rear wheel and damaged the rear beam axle and wheel  . The car had a replacement beam axle and wheel.

Overall the car drives very well indeed pulls very well in all gears and handles like a sports coupe of the 90s should. Viewing highly recommended.

  4. I’m guys I’m after a few bits for my vr6 and g60.

    • 4 good fuse box clips

    • late vr6 centre console ( where the radio sits)

    • boot latch assembly ( mounted by two Allen keys on the tailgate itself

    • fully working drivers door handle

    • black passenger side kick panel

    • two black parcel shelf holders ( holds the speakers)

•drivers side door inner top plastic trim

    Any help most appreciated

    Alex

  5. I think speaking for most Corrado owners , the window scrapers seals finish the car off nicely after a paint job,And always end up getting bent, damaged or deteriorate with age.

I think if the obsolete side can be remanufactured to a good standard then it will sell like hot cakes.
