Nice one. I've got a local guy who can make up shafts. So your retaining the 6 speed box? The only other bits I was wondering about were fuel pumps/tank and do you need to retain the golf clocks too?

Hi guys I've been away from the world of corrados for about 6 years. I currently have a mk4 golf TDI pd150. I'm considering using it as a donar for a corrado project. I've tried searching on here but I can't seem to find any info on the conversion. I'll be on the search for a suitable car to fit the engine in to also. Is there a certain model that lends itself better than others for the tdi? Any info/links to build threads/corrado a for sale would be appreciated Cheers

This is my new one, as my previous red one has biten the dust its on coilovers, 18" Lenso RS5`s, Black interior, Debadged Grill, bra Future mods, new lights all round, and straight bumpers! Let me know what you think! Comments Welcome!

how do i remove the adjuster knob for the seatbelt slider??

flying!! lol iv lost one now, it shot straight out the car.. not to worry, all sorted now. cheers fellas, found the best way to get the knobs off was to put a spanner behind them and lever them off. just the dash left to do but ill leave that for the weekend me thinks -

my drivers one had the same problem, i took the door card off and watched it go up and down, there is like a scissor part which attaches to the alloy slider at the bottom of the window, one of the white plastic bushes had come off and was sitting in the door, luckily it slid back onto the alloy slider then clipped back onto the end of the scissor part, hope this helps

possibly something stuck in the fan causing it to stall now blown a fuse?? id check the fuse for it then take the motor out and see whats jamming it up

dunno if this helps but im turboin a 16v, a friend is breaking a punto turbo with a pace intercooler. iv offered it up and it will fit in front of the rad but a bit of the slam pannel's brace will need trimming but width wise it just fits between the 2 chassis legs spot on, 2" inlet/outlet and the pipes both bend backwards towards the rear of the car, another one is the frontera TD intercooler,the same layout as the one above, iv got one on my nova turbo and that copes with 300bhp no problems, ill post some measurements tomorrow if u like? this is slim too so it may fit between the rad and brace bar as is is, these can be bought for £40 upwards so quite cheap too

im stripping the black interior out of my old red one to fit in my new blue one which has grey interior. iv managed to take everything else out without damaging anything but im stuck trying to remove the plastic which runs down the pillars and above the side windows. iv unbolted the seatbelt at the top but the knob for the slider has to come off to remove the plastic. iv tried pulling but iv got this far without breaking anything, i dont want to start now, other thing is the grab handle, how does this come off?? thanks alex

yeah, probably contact pad on the switch, mine used to do it if i didnt move them for a while, after a quick rough wiggle, they came back to life every time

hi, im about to resurrect my 1.8 16v c after being stood at my mates house for over a year, first task is to sort the engine, head gasket has gone but it also burns oil like hell when sitting at traffic lights. so, the plan is to fit a 2.0 bottom end, what do i need to complete this, which block do i need or would it be easier getting a complete engine and fitting the 1.8 cams, also, will my kjet injection run the 2.0 ok? thanks for any comments/advice, ps. if anyone has any of the parts i need, please let me know cheers, alex
