If you are looking for a custom paint job you dont wanna be cutting corners on the price, generaly you get what you pay for what kind of work you looking at getting done
-
will do, sorry to say this but i always thought of the VR6 as a bit of a tractor engine, but now ive sorted the leak and drove it, my view has totly changed
-
cheers ill try that, ill try and get some pics so people can see there condition.
-
right well seen as though ive sold my 16v turbo ive got two thing's i may as well get rid of. Both parts were use for about 1 moth so are nearly new, I dont know what they are worth now what do you think. Item 1 is a starter motor item 2 is a distrobuter
-
i thought the they wre both oil pressure sensor's one high pressure and the other one low pressure, thats what it is on the 1.8 16v anyway. does you oil buzzer or light ever go off
-
nice one. my bro is doing this as a joint project now so in the new year will taking the engine out and starting the rebuild, so ill be looking for some parts
-
well after getting my hand's on a knackerd VR6 for free i was thinking of selling it for a couple of hundered quid because it still has tax and mot, but after hearing it running (i never knew how good they actualy sound) i'm thinking of doing it up. A quick one first when it's ticking over its fine but if you rev it high the oil buzzer goes off, when you look at the oil cooler the are (what i imagine to be) oil pressure switches one high one low (if its like my old valver) any way the one on the left the wire has snaped off it not had chance to reconnect it yet but does sound like the answer to the buzzer going off.

think i would rather put an intercooler on
-
what benefits do you get from useing after market pistons
-
what mods did he have for that kind of power
-
lol what is the most power someone has got out of a N/A VR6
-
any way sold my corrado to a friend but he has a vr6 that has a burst water hose. its a bit of a nail and looks like its been painted in glue and ramraided halfords, its gonna need an engine rebuild and new bumpers and stuff, was just wondering what kind of money parts will be for a full doing a full enging rebuild
-
ive got this problem i changed the pressure sensors with GSF ones but did not solve the problem will try VW one's and see if they work. when i changed them though it did not do it as much. Ive got a anolog gauge on my pillar so i was gonna just rip the buzzer out but i could not find it, anyone know where it is

I might start washing my hands in the stuff then ive got an excuse to go to the pub lol, on the aquamist website it says no more than 50/50 after that it will make the intake temp's higher.

thought about this a while ago. how much would it cost roughly.
