  1. Car at Wheelbase in Hersham now for MoT check so will do - Ill sketch up loom and add photos and post it soon as it comes back-
  2. Dox, fendervg - Thanks very much for all your your help, am all done and lights are working as they should
  3. So have a knocked up a new feed loom from the battery with two live and 2 earth cables with independent fuses (was thinking 20 or 25 amp ?) The original set up had two 40 amp relays (one of which sounded dodgy) so have sourced 2 new and thought 30 amp would do. The question is that the original (as installed) wiring is a Yellow and a Yellow/Black which feed the headlights then a White and a White Black which feed the Main Beam . . Can any-one help as regards which is the switch wire (87) and which is the feed wire (86)
  4. Yup am reaching out across both medium - The yellow dim-dip connector is disconnected - Am trying to find a simple key to the relays / layout so I can check the relevant ones as the handbook and wiring diagramme manuals are impossible to fathom . .
  5. Hello all - Newbie here . . Today had a run out, previously all good but somehow I have lost the dipped headlights. They do come on with the main beam. Other symptoms are the small indicator light on the rocker switch goes out when the switch is advanced from side lights to headlights and there is no blue indicator light on the dash when the main beam is on . . . . It appears I have the uprated wiring loom as yellow plug which I assume is the "dim-dip" resistor is NOT connected. . . . is this likely a simple relay failure ?
