yep ur ryt.........a 16v. its got an induction kit. dnt no when its been last service. best bet to change spark plugs????? but is ok when its slightly warm

had my corrado for about two months.. every day,,, when satrted my raddo dosnt run right...feels like its missing or that not enuf feul or air is cuming throught...if a rev her it cuts off. however if left running for a bout a minute.afta tht is perfectly fine for the rest of the day.. once warm its starts fine.. help anyone?? :shrug:

ok...finaly changed th heater matrix on ma rrado!!!!! however still no hot air!!! did a couple of checks and asked around and found my answer..... :nuts: the matrix is a common fault however there are two bypass values connected to the pipes leading to the matrix that prevent the flow of water..if one of these is stuck,, it will not allow hot water into the heater matrix therefore no hot air..i replaced these by pass valuse with copper pipes which you can purchase from most plumping stores. if your raddo has hot pipes leading to the matrix but no hot air best chances are: 1)heater matrix, systoms includes wet carpet....misting windows 2)heater control box or cables, can normally check when changing fron hot to cold there should be a difference in air. if not check you cables (mines is blue) 3)bypass vaules... best to change first as its a easy fix...little money spent hope this i helpfull :salute:

oh my car is a 1.8 16v Hreg with the early heater controls (sliding)

k, i finaly got to changing my heater matrix as the blowers only blew cold air. the pasenger side footwell was wet and the windscreen got misty (signs of a leaky matrix). as a new heater matrix is now in place and the water system has been bled i was hoping to feel warm air however this was not the case!!!!! still COLD :( i havejust recently got the car (with the heater problem) and have noticed that the spindal for (blue) heater cold cable control under the heater box is slightly brokon...maybe someone has opened it once before therefore tinking now it may be something to do with the spindal or heat flaps??????? could this be??? i can hear a change when turn from hot to cold also could it be the thermostat???? but the two pipes leading to the heater matrix are hot!!! or could it be the water pump not curculating the water??? please could you help me the car is costng me £££££s and i cnt even fix the problem.. if anyone can dcribe which way the spinals turn whenswicth from hot to cold would e great!!! for mine the spindal connected to the blue cable turn anti clockwise the the 2nd towarsd the drvers turns clockwise. which1 controls the heat???? please help!! :confused4:

my heaters are blowing cold... i have checked the cables, checked the termo (which is missing). and checked for the pipes running to the matrix which are hot... what could it be... the pasenger foot duz howeevr get wet.. can it still be the matrix??????

the pipes are hot leading to the matrix....so could it still be the matrix????? and duz the corrado self bleed out the air lock?? or is there a bleed valve??

yer the blower makes a noise.. however chaning the seal...wud it sort out the problem of cold air?????

thanks all...the cable was gud..but the cog for the windscreen (located furtest away) was broken. i just turned it around and now air is flowing out the drivers side windscreen.... :D however the pansenger side windscreen still not letting thruoghh air..

to be honest only had the car for at most twoweeks and its been raining ever since. havnt topped up the coolent seems to be stable.the windows are alredt steamed up before i sit into the car.!!!! the side windows clearup whn the air is blowing but as the windscreen vent do not blow out any air at all the wndscreen remains steamed! any clues???

i have opened the front piece of dash and checked the cables running to a flap...when turinin the slidiers the mechanism attached to the cable turns...still no air to the windscreen vents... i have the early sldiers and my blower motor is strong.....

k the two pipe leading to th matrix are hot and when turning from hot to cold i can hear a change....so whats th next step??!!!!!!!!! could it still be the heatermatrix?? also i have noticed that the pasenger side floor carpet is wet...but dnt no why .. what u reckon pple!!! help!!!!!! :mad2:

hi my corrado duz not let out air though the windscreens vents.. i have checked the cables in the centre behind the controls and they r good..what esle can it b.. and how do i get to it??? help!!1

thanks mate, av checked the pipes and they r present also checked the the cables which are good. could it b the termostat??? also the air is flowing through the air vent but not through the windscreen vent...help :confused4:
