had same prob with my kr. I cleaned everything with carb cleaner Quiet a lot of dirt came out of the ISV but i also cleaned all conected parts IE. tb, airbox, pipes but also the overrun cut off valve was almost full of oil (tbh their was a lot of oil through the whole system) so i emptied that and used the carb cleaner on it. Cant really pin down what helped but there was definetly an improvment

Didnt know they came with brembos,must check that. it does come with coilovers are these any good to me?

cheers marty have checked distrubutar and vac pipes, But u mentioning plug leads has me thinking, I have my leads tucked down between the intake manifold so mabe theres some over heating on the leads going on,will have to remove manifold to check will keep ya posted Change of plan, have aquired crashed ibiza cupra r (happy days) it means ill have to drive the demio for a while longer but should be worth it. meself and a mate are going to tackle the actual lump imlant as for the electrics im sure ill be refering on here for enlighenment

need some help, rado died on me the other day, started it back up and gave it a few revs and started reving very strangly and back firing and cuts out. It idles fine. I presume its electrical and am getting mixed diagnoses from people any help would be great as im having to drive the mothers mazda demio

your thoughts! came across said throttle body the other day for the trottle switch as my own was a bit dodgy. when i got it home i noticed it had a throttle open switch whitch mine does not have will this be ok to swap the entire tb and would it be any benifit to the engine cheers for any info

has annyone here ever done this,iv searched posts refering to all red rear lights but these all seem to be about standard rear clusters.and would i encounter the same problems with indicator colors and bulbs etc
