What should i be looking for within that price range then ? ie in terms of mileage history etc ? :?

I was expecting to have the charger rebuilt on top of this price.

Plus a few other mods as well, so basically i was looking for a sound car with history that i could mod to the spec i wanted :D

Ive been looking for a g60 now for about a month.

Have about 3k to spend on one, looking for a standard one with full history and less than 100k on the clock( any colour except white).

Cant seem to find a decent one anywhere, should i be looking to pay more or am i looking in the wrong places ?

have tried autotrader, exchange and mart etc ?

The bit that is replaced if the airbag goes off, is just the top half of the dash. Yes this part is £600 from Audi because of the airbag

F**kin lyin b*st*rd repair shop.

When i had the quote done on my TT before it was repaired the repairers quoted a couple of grand for the dash.

Guess ill be ringing the insurance company on monday to find out what they got charged for the dash repairs.

It does not rip it apart as it had gone off in mine and you can see where.

Have a look at a TT dash, there is no panel there until the airbag has been deployed, Hence the need for the a complete new dash every time the airbags go off at great expense. (nice one audi)

Most breakers wanted £500+ for the dash,

Once the airbags have gone off in the TT, the dash has to be replaced completely, the passangers airbag rips the dash apart when it goes off ( I found this out to my own expense :roll: )

The stealers will charge you about 2k for a new one :x

So im sure if you explain this to your friendly breakers it wouldnt cost you much as its not a salvageable part.

LOL, just sold my TT this week as i needed the cash, looking for a corrado at the moment :D

I reckon the TT will definetly be a modern classic in the future just like the corrado is now. :)

Ai606 is a good alarm had one on my current car for 3 years no problems :D

Have a look at the Toad Ai606 alarm, have it on my TT, havnt had one problem with it in 3 years.

Has all the features your looking for, even locks the car for you and arms the alarm if you leave it unlocked. :D

I think it was about 250 quid + the Vat.

Going to get one fitted on my corrado, when i find one :D

Tvr Cerbera a few years ago. omg it was fast scared the crap out of me. Untill i found out the insurance cost #5,000 a year :roll:
