  1. hi many thanks for feedback i put a brand new thermostat in when changed the waterpump but i think i might try a new one again in case i got a duffer!!
  2. hello guys 'n' gals i have recently put a 2.00 9a engine in a car that originaly was a 1.8 kr every thing is good apart from when am motoring along it runs at about 70/80 degrees however if i stop in traffic it goes up quite rapidly to about 105/110 the fan comes on at about 91 degrees for about 30 seconds then goes off even though the temp is still rising it will keep coming on and off when its running at about 110 degrees i have fitted a brand new water pump and thermostat and fan switch thermo and its still happening if anyone has done this conversion before or has experienced problems like this any feedback would be most welcome many thanks. woody

HELP ME PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES posting.php?mode=post&f=1# hi i have a 1990 1.8 16v corrado the engine got VERY hot twice and am pretty sure the head has gone anyway i have bought off the bay of e an engine advertised as a 1.8 16v KR engine it turns out that its an 9A 1.8 16v the only thing i can see thats different thus far is two sensors and the injection system has two extra pipes does anyone know if it is atall possible to put a 9A engine a car that had a KR engine in. & will i have to get a new ecu any feedback would be really appreciated many thanks. woody
