I'll pay £90 for it! (not joking) :)) -
Is that the os or ns mate? If it's os I'll have it off you.

Fair point mate, they would have to be tasteful :))

Have you smoked these yourself? Really looking for a more crystal/black tint. Thanks for the offer though

Anyone know of a firm that makes/supplies some tasty illuminated corrado sill protectors. Cheers chaps

As title states I'm looking for some aftermarket door pods, not concerned about whether they are audioscape or custom etc. Also looking for late ns side headlight glass, os side flimsy scuttle panel, some nice stainless sill protectors, 50mm chin spoiler, crystal black smoked/red rears and finally de badged front grill with headlight eyebrow. Cheers chaps

Right, I'm currently in the middle of upgrading to 312 fronts and mk4 rears and while I'm waiting to get my shiny new toys back from the powder coaters I've got to get my brake lines ordered. I want to fit a full 6 piece braided kit but wondered whether I need to buy specific mk2-mk4 rear lines or does anyone know of a manufacturer that does a full kit with the conversion hoses included? Thanks in advance guys - Ed

As my back box has almost completely fallen off now i have to accept the reality that i need to buy a new system! But the age old problem of being constantly skint means i'd much prefer to find a decent condition used stainless system than fork out the 400 odd quid for a new setup..... Anything considered but nothing too battered or old plz, i have a vr6 but know a g60 system will go on with some fiddling around to the mounts. Cheers Guys - Ed

Cheers fellas, much appreciated. Seems there isn't going to be a huge amount of peformance difference in either 205's or 215's so as i'm pretty chummy with the local tyre firm i'll ask if they are happy to fit one of each and see what looks better. I can get a very good price on Falken 215's and as far as i'm aware can't get the same deal on 205's so that's quite likey to sway my decision. Any other suggestions on mid price brands people?

I've just picked up a set of oz canyon 17x7-1/2 for my vr6, not my first choice but paid peanuts for them and they will let me put the 312 brakes on i've had knocking around for ages. I'm getting them back from the refinishers tomorrow so need to start thinking about which tyres to go for, i've never actually put a different set of rims on any car i've owned so not really experienced in changing rolling radius etc and could do with some advice on how different side wall heights, width and so on will affect gearing, handling, will arches need rolling etc? the car is on standard suspension. My local tyre firm has recomended: 215/40/17 Any input would be greatly appreciated. Cheers - Ed

Well i don't want to rub salt in the wound mate, but i'm happy as a pig in the "proverbial" 10 months i've had this car and the MFA has never even showed a hint of wanting to play along and now simple a fix like that has cured it. To show my gratitude i'd like to offer you for free the spare mfa stalk i have that came off a mk3 golf gti, the wording is slightly faded and the wire's will need to be block connected but i know it works fine. Yours if you give me the word mate. Ed.

Hi mate, i have exactly the same fault and have done all the same checks on the connections and even tried fitting a replacement stalk that i tested working on the donor car but to no avail. Can you please tell me fella what you mean by "the battery way"? As i've not heard of this fix. Cheers - Ed

Just out of interest mate, does that mean you'll be selling your grey set? Cheers - Ed.
