  3. 10w 40 semi synthetic is that right?
  4. OK But replacement of what? And is there anything else it might be?
  5. Newbie question so forgive me if it is a stupid one please. Have chanced into Corrado ownership so not fully up to speed with it all yet. I have a 1.8 16v. Its a 1990. It has vw service stamps up to 120000 and has now done 145k. The engine pulls very well and starts, ticks over, revs very well. No smoke popping or banging so all good. However it does make quite a loud tappet type noise at tickover that kinda comes and goes but is mostly there, hot or cold. Can I adjust the tappets on this engine and if so can anyone point me to some instructions? And if not adjustable what options do I have? Thanks Jon
