no the hazards have no effect on the dash mate, and havent cjecked the resistor yet, was just gunna put in a uprated loom...is this what you think i should do? how do i get to the resistor and what should i look out for to see if its at fault?

no they dont mate, the indicator signals on the car are fine its just the dash.....

sounds a pain to get too......

got problem on nearside sorted....fuse 11 controls this and the main beam light on the dash!!!????how strange to just do that on one fuse.....

guys found part of the problem...think it was fuse 11, it controls the nearside main beam ansd the blue main beam bulb on dash!how strange!!!! but still best fit a new loom as bulbs still dull shouldnt i? cant work out this dash problem!!! still cant get the indicator signals on dash to work or the speedo......heeeellllpppp

the indicators work fine on units its just the dash where the indicator light doesnt function to tell u when indicator is on,.....has a vw remote central locking alarm but has been disconnected apparantly???? has a seperate auto closure immobiliser

ok cool, where is that earth based tho? the other end....not the battery end???

yeah checked fuses they all fine bud, really confused what to do, do i buy a uprated loom?

no i dont have a uprated loom, will this fix all the problems?why should i disconeect the ballast?

Yeh I'll have it :lol: :lol: Saw the Storm/non-Storm I mentioned earlier again, same time, same road in Yeovil. I'm absolutetly certain it was black this time, it was a clear day and there was no hint of blue in it! So either someone's resprayed a Storm, or they've been sticking cheeky Storm badges on a normal VR! :norty: this is probably my mate who has a blacky dark blue vr6 which i think isnt a storm.........in yeovil yes

Hey all......have the dreaded problem of dim headlights on my lovely rado but just wanted to check if this is caused by the usual loom problems etc . Both sides of my dipped beam are very dull but working, but main beam is a differnt story. The passenger side main beam doesnt work, the bulb goes DIMMER when activated and the h3 bulb next to it doesnt work at all, where as the other side dip and main work fine as usual wity the twin filament and the h3 both working. Is this down to the loom guys? i have replaced all hulbs to see if they were blown so all bulbs are new....... pleasehelp ozmo

Guys need your help....Car has recently failed mot on minor things including 'indicator tell tale signal innoperative' (in other words the indicator signals on the dash.....) My dash has the foillowing faults...... 1. No sppedo 2. Half of MFA is working half isnt 3. No indicator signals on dash 4. No main beam blue light My handbrake light didnt use to work...but now does after i have swapped another dash from another g60 (my corrado is a 1990 16v with a g60 conversion) So i have swapped dash with another but is exactly the same (apart from the handbrake light)! I however swapped over from my old dash the blue box thing on back of dash with the vacuum pipe on it....what is this? could this be the cause? Is this why my rear spoiler doesnt work for the speed activation? this is the only thing left for mot........is there fuses for differnt parts of dash? is the blue box the curse? i really need help guys cheers

OK tried lights today but no differnce...tried new dash no differnce so why isnt my speedo or my indicators working?everything else done apart from exhaust whats the blue box on the back of dash for?
