is going back into the garage tomorrow weather permitting, am thinking along the lines of air intake filter or possibly the belts? thanks for advice, (sorry for posting in wrong area i think :nono: ) tom

hi guys, just after a bit of advice/diagnosis. had the car in the garage for new headlight loom and the front splitter off,(so nothing engine related touched) have started it up just now and sounds noticibally different! compared to the low exhuast note its more a high pitched noise coming from around air intake, charger and alternator area. its a newly bought refurbed charger with a reciept, (previous owner says its done 2000miles) so surely to early to break?? or am i being too trusting :? thanks for reading, just thought id put it up there as am a little bit worried!
