My car did this the once about a month ago although it was a concern at the time it started fine the following morning and did not reoccur till Tuesday this week.It was worse yesterday and again today and about an hour ago when I took it for a run though not as bed as yesterday untill that is me nopt having a massive mechanical know how put 250ml of red X in and this made the car worse. All useful help welcome.Thankyou Friday morning ! started fine ran well with no signes of the proplems for approx 2 mile then it it happened again but even more fuel starvation car abbandond as it stop. Okay we have had a u turn on the problem we now beleive its over fueling its running very very rich think its lambda sensor my self but a vw tech mate of mine who very kindley spent some time om it on sat morning thot it was the air metering were the plunger was but after cleaning and ajusting still the same

hi there on another thred it was suggested to remove the battery terminals from the battery for a hour or so then touch the two connections togther before re attching to the battery , have a vw master tech as a mate and he said this can work and is somtimes a good starting point , the MFA chip can hold static and this clears it , not in my case good luck with yours cheers-JIM

when driving the right hand turn feels stiffer than going to the left . Whilst normal driving on a good a road or motorway if i check the steering it is lovley no pulls or jerks just runs strait and true . When on not so good surfaces or even catching a thick white line or cats eye it wants to pop and pull and almost go light on the steering . Changed both belts this week as recomended by two garages ,this as had no change .The car is sat on 17 x 205 x50 could this be adding to the problem or is their somthing more sinister. cheers jim

My mfa on a 92 16v is not working , tried the battery way, looked to see that the connection is in .The clock works and the MFA 2 lcd is on but won't scroll through or move to MFA 1 any further ideas the sensors are are all connected in the engine bay .

If anyone can help that would be great or how do I inspect the front speakers
