So it is going to have to go :-( I joined back in 2010 after buying my G60 with the intention of being an active member. However, after doing a rake of work on it to get it back on the road it ended up being parked up for most of the time I've owned it! The wife was using it as her daily but after getting a job in Cardiff we got something economical for her commute, it then just sat there.......next to my 205 GTi :-( So the 205 has gone, to a very good friend of mine thankfully, and it is time to let some one else have the G60 who is actually going to use it.....it has done about 1000 miles in the 8 years I have owned it! It is a nice car, certainly not a concours jobby but a really nice example. Totally standard except for the jabba SC, black badges and the rubber bump strips were not refitted after I had it resprayed and it has remote central locking as part of the alarm. Even has the original stereo.....anyone still got some tapes? Unusually the sunroof only tilts..... Mileage is 156500. Has a new MOT along with a new fuel pump and full service. Looking for £5,500.00. Happy for you to come and have a gander the car is in BS16 area of Bristol, no tax or insurance so test driving will be limited I am afraid but taking it up and down the road will be fine. Can pick up and drop off at the train stations or airport if need be. Completely as was apart from a Jabba SC. Had it resprayed in original colour and just had the wheels refurbed. So really not much to say apart from sorry about the picture quality.....I can see why wedding photographers don't use blackberrys!! I'm devastated it's got to go!!

Well it's been fitted and it looks pretty good, it is just a one piece thing. I'll get a pic up later.

So it has arrived and it is a single piece, will see it over the weekend and let you all know what it looks like. As to cost I don't know, he is going to let me know what it should be as my one has arrived "damaged" so he just to write it off and "throw it away"........handy!

It turns out that my mate at ******** can get them, he has ordered one and it should arrive tomorrow, not sure what it's going to be like as my mate at VW said they didn't make them anymore. Does anyone know if this'll be an aftermarket affair and if so is it going to look ok? I think I'd rather a second hand original than a new piece of poo!

Hi all. When i had the G60 resprayed my mate removed the trim and now I don't have it! We can't remember whether he had to damage it on the way out or if we just lost it. Anyway that's pretty irrelevant as I can't find it and I don't seem to be able to buy one, my mate works for VW and no-one in his group has one! Is there a common solution to a replacement trim?

Last thread was closed as a "covert advert" not my intention at all! It was meant as a hello and more of mention that I'm going to have sell my Corrado after finally getting one and getting it sorted, wanted one since I was 15. Just a quick hello, finally about to get "my" G60 sorted and back on the road.....just in time to sell it to help fund my wedding!!! It hurts but it has to go, i have a company car and the girlfriend (who's car it was really) drives my old 205 GTi which I've had for a million years so that has to stay! Will advertise it in the relevant section in due course but it's having it's wheels refurbed at the mo. Apart from a Jabba SC it's a totally standard metallic purple jobby, even got the original stereo. Was resprayed, used for a month and has been sat in the garage since as Kate started using the PUG because she has to leave it in a car park in town. It's probably not a show winner but it is damn tidy, the interior and exterior are really good and it runs like a dream. I'll be open to sensible offers......and in 12 months time I'll be wanting to buy it back!!
