corrado show car four year build project Hi , Due to starting my own business .I no longer have the time to finish my corrado.So with a heavy heart i'm putting it up for sale. The car started out as a late (k-reg) 2.0 16v. In the four years i've had it, it has had a total rebuild .This includes a glass out repaint (done at my local bmw main dealer).The body work has had some subtle smoothing, ie wing repeaters,badges,aerial,rear wiper and the bumpers .The engine bay has also been 'oem' style smoothed.The underside has also been cleaned and painted.Its as clean underneath as on top !!.All of the running gear has been powder coated or painted to a high standard.All the bushes are new ,these are either new 'oem' or power flex.All the bearings are new as are the track rod ends and ball joints.All of the bolts have been plated as a lot of other small parts . Brake wise it is all R32 spec .so vented rear discs and calipers (again new) and the fronts have large 4pot brembo calipers ,all painted in body colour. The wheels are off a porsche cayenne 17's with low profile tyres (again almost new) these are fitted to one off adaptors. The coilovers are 'FK's again new top mounts etc. The interior is in excellent condition ,i have replaced the heater matrix.and a momo team wheel is fitted. So what is left to do .The brake lines need fitting (i have new lines and braided hoses to go on).The paint needs a mop and polish to be perfect. Now the obvious bit an engine needs fitting.I was going to fit a 2.0 16v out of a mk3 (which i have) then turbo it. I have all the parts to finish.This will come with boxes and boxes of parts and spares. I also have full black leather with heated recaro seats and a black dash ,carpets ,parcel shelf and most of the plastics .BUT this is not included in the price,This it will be a separate negotiation . ABS assembly almost everything ! I have a complete (almost) ABS assembly from my late 2.0 16v corrado. The kit includes the pump ,brkt,servo and master cylinder. The complete loom ,from the fuse box.The ecu and bracket ,dash warning lamp ,as well as the main fluid pipes.The only parts missing are the speed sensors and the small front sensor loom sections,apart from that everything else is there,it was in perfect working order before removal.which was done carefully . Thanks for the replies. As far as the one set i did have ,they are still at the machine shop (if i ever get them back!!) The original set are back on a VW. So for the moment i'm unable to help. As for my corrado its just frustration, i know.It has come a long way .glass out repaint, the underneath is now painted and as clean as the top All the suspension is powder coated or painted and we wont talk about the LARGE amount of plated nuts and bolts ?? I cant see any one wanting a rather large airfix kit .I'll just keep battling on Thanks again Rod

Thanks for everyone's input. As far as the plate design is concerned,(kipVr) they were a direct copy of a set that had come from the states, the guy has sold a lot of these,with no apparent problems.the plate it self was 10mm thick. As i had said in an earlier post, the bolts were still being finalized. But due to the massive hassle i have had and the delay it has also had on my corrado build, i'm calling it a day on the plates before i call it a day on the car too. Apologies for this. so i'm afraid its over to you guys.
