Bit of a problem, came to the car this morning after being stood for about a week, starter turned over but before it could fire it cut out!!! tried it again this time nothin at all. tried again tonight but nothing at all. its got a scorpion5000/vw alarm and imobiliser on it, indicators only flash twice when its armed, not sure but pretty certain it usually gives 3 flashes!! dont know if thats got owt to do with it? any ideas?

Problem solved, after all that it was as simple as fuse 16 being blown!!! No idea why it causes the car to cut out, as it only works the glove box light, part of the mfa and the active spoiler!!!

Already tried the spare key, no differance!!! Would that mean a new ECU is required then? any idea of the cost?

Came to the car last week, It fired up first time then cut out after about 2 or 3 seconds, tried it over and over again with the same result!!! Its getting power to the fuel pump, fuses and the coil. any ideas? Its got a vag/scorpion 5000 cat 1 alarm/imobiliser on it, thought that might be the problem but suerly it just wouldnt start if the imobiliser was nackered? Any help would be greatfull!!

Hi guys, I've resently bought a Schrick VGI and have got some Schrick 268 cams on order. What other mods will be required if any to give me the best results. any idea how much im looking at? Which is the best place in the north west to get the work done?

Turn2 (USA) Cold Air Intake (CAI) system for the VR6

Just a word of warning mate, i ordered a turn2 CAI for my VR6 in August last year, still waiting for it!!! They took the money straight away as well. Sent loads of emails and tried ringing no answer to any of them. Its as if there not in business any more!! -
Ive also ordered a CAI from them, ordered it on the 30th August, had an email off them that day confirming the order but nothing since. Sent a couple of emails and tried ringing but no answer as yet! Getting well brassed off!!! :x

Just had the rado dropped 35mm on koni / H&R, now wanting some wheels, was thinking of Kerscher Carmona rims, just wondering wether it would be best to go with 7.5"x16 all round or put 9"x16 on the rear? what advantages / disadvantages do they give? any arch mods required

Im looking for a VR6 at the moment, just wondering wether its worth paying out a lot more money for a low millage one, or better goin for one with a few more miles. When do they start giving problems? Cheers Ian
