how hard is it to change the head gasket on a 1.8 16v corrado, iv done them on other cars but not on a vw, anything to look out for, thanks for any help

too be fair its only the lights and it wont give me an oil temp on the trip computer that are wrong. and the headlight switch is a bit sensitive. apart from that its a sound motor. but after driving it i cant help too think that im missing out and now want a vr6

how do you go about uprated headlight loom as the lights on it are shite. its had the sun roof done so no probs with that,

thats in third. just done the timing today seems to have sorted that out. felt a sting in my wallet when i saw an oil leak. luck for me it was only the o ring in the dizzy cap cheap fix as i already had a nice selection of o rings at work.

16v. i dont now much about corrados, had an impreza turbo befor, but came to the conclusion i hate jap crap. and my disco died of cancer so this is all im left with. what should i look out for on it.

only a 1.8 (at the moment) got it cause body wise its mint not a stone chip on her. having a couple of probs with the engine and as not owning a vw before im a bit stumped

i have a 1992 reg 1.8 corrado, my new baby, the car is mint except it seems really sluggish untill you get to 40mph then it shifts. its just had a service by myself, no oil leaks. its had a vr6 exhaust fitted to it just wondering if that could be causing the problem. :shrug: [

just got my first corrado. and need a bit of help. where is the sensor for the oil temp the trip computer does not read a temp the car feels realy slow up untill 40mph then takes off if any one can help get in touch thanks :help:
