Zman240uk, on every single post i do were im selling something i always put my e-mail address down as point of contact! and you never e-mailed me at all if you were that worried about things i know i would have e-mailed the person regarding it! i understand that it been a while but when iv been working down in england staying in hotels etc i was basicaly imposible to send them! i was only home at the weekends if i even got home! anyways i can asure you that the mounts are on there way to you MATTER CLOSED!

zman240uk first off one the post i left my e-mail address for comtact have you sent me one e-mail to my address answer No! 2nd off i did e-mail you and i advised you that i was working away from home! i understand its been a fair while since i got your cheque its take a max of 10! working days to clear! and when im down in england and the mounts are in scotland sending them is about as easy as flying to the moon! but i can assure you that the mounts ARE on there way down to you! Since i was paying for the postage i told them to send it the cheepest way told me it could take a week to deliver! but they should be with you! all i can say is people have lifes i.e work away from home if you e-mailed my e-mail address i may have been able to to let you know what was going on! but for you to say that i had not got in touch with you at all is complete rubbish! Anyways I got myself a nice scooby turbo so wont be on here from now on! but as per my post if you have a problem how aout trying to e-mail me instead of pm me as im basicaly never on here! i hope this matter is now closed! bobby, i have had the car for about a year doing it up slowly i might add! its just my prodject i just put money into when i have it but make sure its good qualit parts im using like vibra monts etc! but if you had the cash! and the parts and probably more cash and a few mates willing to help you out i would think it would take a few weeks! my mate who is doing the conversion thinks if i had all the parts there for him he would be able to do it in a weekend! lol but i think he would be pushing it a bit! but i call his bluff soon when i want to reshell the golf lol!

cheers lads dr_matt you hit the nail on the head! cheacked 109 and found it not to be full in correct and also found a couple more rouge wires at the back of the fuse board and hey presto we have a spark!! cheers lads :)

hi all thanks for the advise! the coil is getting a supply not sure about the timing signal! the car is pre 95 no imobliser when i turn the key the engine turns over and trys to start but there is no spark from any of the plugs! cheers Dave

hi all merry xmass, i am having a wee bit of trouble with my vr6 conversion i have got to the point now where i need to fire the engine up! I have given power to the engine loom and when i turn the keys the engine turns over fine but there is no spark coming from the plugs! i have checked the coil and this seems to be getting power fine! what else could be naking the car not to spark? mailto:[email protected] cheers Pixie

Hey all, I have a slight problem that i hope someone here can help me with. I have a set of 17" Oz Splitrim allloy wheels that came of a Vw corrado VR6 that tryed but failed to become part of a skip! hehe one of the alloys on the front end was quite badly damaged (well the outer rim) i would like to put them on my Vr6 mk2 conversion when its done but i need the rim replaced of fixed if it can be! Now i tryed to buy a new alloy or rim from Oz but they have stoped making the wheels! first off i dont suppose anyone has a spare 17" oz futura alloy kicking about? or is there anyware that will make or supply me with a replacement rim?? or can i take the rim of say a 17" Bk splitrim and just split the Bk rim for the outer rim and add the Oz inner parts if you know what i meen! any help will be greatly recievd!! cheers Pixie

A few mechanic mates of mine are up for the job! i just really want some advise that i can give them! i am fitting g60 or vr6 breaks so i belive they will be fine! also a tdi or a vr6 radiator! what else will i need to change over or consider? do i need to change the subframe or will the standard mk2 subframe be ok? anyother advise on this will be greatly accepted! cheers all!! hi all, i have a quick question for yous! im looking for a new engine for my mk2 golf gti at the moment and i might have found a nice lump but the only thing that im unsure of is that the engine was in a left hand drive car! will this cause a problem or will it go into my right hand car no problem? cheers all
