ive just got my vr back on the road after a few years and the noise of the fan is deafening (knackered bearings methinks).ive been looking online for a replacementand saw that one type just comes as a rotary blade/wheel, and the more expensive unit comes complete with the motor attached. have any of you ever had this issue with your fan and if so what fixed it ? any ideas or advice welcome as always. cheers all. :shrug:

thats feckin extortion.only £132 per year up here for classic insurance to boot. there should def be road tax concessions for old schools cars.the laws an ass.

i was in donegal last week and a fella had a mint 96 vr6 for sale and he told me it would be 1400 euros to tax in the south, does this sound right to u or was he bull****tin lol ?

cheers for the response m8, rebuilt the engine 3 years ago but the car has ben in dry storage since then, brand new leads and coil-pack also fitted, where is the isv located on the vr pls ?

ive a 93 vr which had developed problems on one bank of cylinders, i thought the head gasket had gone so i completely refurbed the head, re-assembled it and was still the same and eventually traced it to the engine loom which has just been replaced. she now seems to be running on all 6 but is lumpy on tick-over..any suggestions people ? cheers:scratch:
