just wondering if you guys could tell me where the best place to get a reasonably priced set of forged pistons for a 2l conversion on my 8v g60? I cracked one of my pistons last night :cry: which means the car is out of action so obhviously I am kinda lookin for somewhere that has them "off the shelf" rather than having to order them and wait for ages until they actually arrive!!! Has anybody got experience of dealing with bahn brenner or wat are they like on delivery time cheers.........

I was just wondering can anybody tell me where i can get lowering caps for my suspension? And is it possible to get them for both the front and back struts?

if you remove the bypass pipe do you just block off the inlet on the chargeror wat? Also the bleed valve on the throttle body is it safe to just vent this to atmosphere cus thats wat i have done and i also adjusted the linkage so the the bleed valve butterfly closes sooner which i heard can give beter instant throttle response cus you get full boost sooner? am i talking sense here dubcharged or complete poo? darren i will take one of the low temp stats off you how much will it set me back and how do i go about paying you?? i just picked up my low temp fan switch today from vw but the but the plug on it is different than the connecter on the corrado loom whats the story there?? have i gotten the wrong one?

yeah thats what my mate uses on his g60 16v corrado because with it being right hand drive he couldnt mount the alternator behind the block(because of the master cylinder) so he had to mount the alternator under the charger. But the samco hose tends to blow off when you drive it very hard, thats why i would prefer to get my hands on the rallye item. so you guys wouldnt be able to source this item for me over in england then??? because like i said i will never come across one over here!!!

cheers darren how big is the t5 intercooler...........does it take up the whole front panel?? a mate of mine had a pace intercooler made up for his 16v g60 corrado and it sits chasis leg to chasis leg the thing is huge, its the dogs bollox! so unless the t5 one is of similar size or i can find one that is i would probably opt for the pace option. :mrgreen: i dont suppose by any chance darren you guys would be able to source me the "u-bend" outlet pipe from a rallye as they(rallyes) are very very rare over here in ireland and non-existant as "breakers" in scrap yards!!!! or does anybody out there have one of these parts for sale?????

has anybody in here fitted a bigger intercooler and if so what kinda intercooler did you use?? i read somewhere that the intercooler from a volvo t5 fits in?? i got a price of £320stg for a full front mounted pace item but to use this one i also have to get my hands on the "u bend" outlet pipe from a rallye which is proving impossible to find second hand and very expensive new from vw

I wanted to say driver side of the charger but.... but what................you remembered you guys drive on the wrong side of the road!!!! (sorry couldnt resist that one) ahh the "idle stabilization vale" sorry i should have realised that one but like i said i am new in here so what exactly does the isv reroute that you guys are talkin about a:do b:where is it located

sorry guys but this may seem like a stupid question........ but what is the isv??? is this the second butterfly on the throttle body this is some kinda return air feed to the charger rite???? i have a mate with a g60 16v in his mk1 and he has this blocked off, aswell as the return inlet on the charger and he is running 13psi with a jd engineering charger and 68mm pulley. also what is this isv reroute and check valve and how do they work exactly? :?:

HI GUYS JUST FOUND THIS SITE AND ITS EXCELLENT!!! I JUST BOUGHT A G60 CORRAD WHICH I HAVE CARRIED OUT A FEW MODS ON(JABBASPORT R1 CHARGER,CHIP & 68MM PULLEY SCHRICK CAM AND JABBA SPORT INDUCTION KIT, FULL SUPERSPRINT EXHAUST INCLUDING CAT BY-PASS) THE CAR RECENTLY DID 198BHP ON THE ROLLERS HOWEVER FROM READING THE POSTS ON HERE I SEE YOU GUYS ARE RUNNING 14PSI BOOST FROM STAGE 4 CHARGERS.............MY CHARGER PRODUCES ABOUT 10PSI AND WILL REACH ABOUT 11.5 AT THE REDLINE.NOW BRIAN AT JABBA SPORT TOLD ME THE R1 CHARGER WILL DO NOTHING FOR YOU REALLY WITH OUT HEAD WORK DONE TOO, SO LEAVING THAT OUT ALL TOGETHER I SHOULD SURELY STILL BE SEEING A MINIMUM OF 14 PSI????? I DONT THINK I HAVE A BOOST LEAK OR AT LEAST NOT ONE BIG ENOUGH TO LOOSE 2 PSI!!!! ANYBODY HAVE ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS?? ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED
