  1. Thanks Dukest! I think I found my wheels! They're 16x7 up front and 16x8 in the rear both with a +25 offset and tires 205 40 16's~ I'm thinking after some research this will do the trick!
  2. Hi! I have just been reunited with a Corrado again and have been shopping for wheels and had a question regarding offset and size as I have been out of the game for almost 20 years... yea Tooooo Looong! LOL! I was wondering what the max width and offset and what tire combo would be the best for my 92 VR6 Corrado? I was in the market for some 16 inch wheels and have found a set that are 16x7 up front with a +25 offset and 16x8 out rear with also a +25 offset~ What would be the perfect tire combo for these? I was thinking 205/45/16's just so that maybe I can avoid them from rubbing anywhere as I will be installing coilovers and lowering the ride height about 2+ inches~ Any help would be awesome and much appreciated! Thanks!
  3. Hi everyone! Just joined and wanted to do a breif intro and say hello to everyone here from SoCal! THis seems like a great community of Corrado enthusiasts with alot of valuable information and I hope to learn alot and maybe even be of help to some! I pretty much love all cars and am not biast against any brand or origin of a car as I believe each and every car has it's own charisma and character... of course there maybe some cars I'm not that fond of but not because of which brand/origin but just may not hold a quality that I like etc... I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm a car nut! lol! Okay below is my story of my love affair with a Corrado... it maybe long and boring so bare with me... hehe!!! In Highschool, a close buddy of mine had purchased a brand new 1986 GTI... boy was it a GREAT CAR!!! Well... I had a 79 Volvo at the time sooo yea... hahah!!! So ever since I had always wanted a nice V dub so I saved up and in college I got myself a 1980 Scirrocco(couldn't afford the 16 valve) I loved it and had so many plans of tuning it etc... but most of my money went into making it run straight sooo ended up selling it after about a year and a half and a broken bank book.. And in after a few years I saw it.... the CORRADO!!! I had to have it... So after saving and selling everything I had and with some help from my family... I ended up getting one... A BRAND NEW BLACK 1990 Corrado G60 back in 1990 when it was first introduced to the US~ Yes.. I am a tad bit on the older side... lol!!! I remember when I first got it, there were mixed reactions from my friends but I loved it! It wasn't the fastest car but was one of the best handling front wheel driven cars, especially around corners, that I had driven! Also I was very fond of the new 911 at the time with it's retracting rear wing but I couldn't afford that so the Corrado was the next best thing! I still remember the smell of the car when it was brand new and the door chime that it had... The first modification I did was get a Kamei eyelid spoiler and shortly thereafter I installed some Chrome 15x6 Momo 5 star wheels that I purchased second hand for a good price... $500 for all 4 I believe... although it was not my first choice(wasn't ever too fancy on chrome and it's offset was very very minor) that was all I could afford... But a few months after a friend of mine who had a 1990 MKII GTI wanted to sell his silver set of 5 Star MOMOS 15x7, as he wanted to get the Momo Quasars! Well it was a perfect fit for my Corrado! It had a more aggressive offset and was a flush fit with a deeper lip! So I got those from him and installed some Eibach sport springs and a Neuspeed short shift kit... and finished it off by changing out the orange turn signals to the White EUro variants~ I had alot of adventures with the car.. even raced it at Sylmar against 1990 GTI's and even Scirroco 16 vales and turbo charged Scirrocos! Man was it fun! To make a long story shorter, I missed the car after selling it.... and from about 2002 til now I have been searching off and on for one, but never really found one that fit my situation as most of the clean unmolested ones I found were in other states or if I found one locally I was too late, or if I found one I didn't have the money etc... nonethelss just wasn't happening~ Well, just yesterday I think I found one!!! I sent the gentleman a email and he responded!!! I'll be going to check it out in a few hours.. I am so stoked! It's not a G60 but a VR6! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it is as nice as the owner says it is as his older brother is the original owner and the car stayed in the family since the winter or 1992! So wish me luck!!! Sorry for the LOOONG essay... haha! I'll post an update of my progress!!!
