  4. best stuff ive used on interiors, or splash on a steam cleaner for the carpets and leather and buy a decent leather feed from zymol etc

Hi Matey, I like to use Gliptone Cleaner and Leather conditioner and find ebay the best place for this, on the carpets i like to use Auto Glym interior cleaner which works wonders on the headlining too

    Keep us posted

  5. cheers for the heads up, got cash standing by due to ebaying off a lot of the valver and what i got scrap wise RIP valver :'( (that and the g60 costing less than a grand......score) so plan is find the leak and replace f**ked part oil coooler and go from there

Dont put radweld in, it generally doesnt work and also can cause harm to the coolant system. If its one of the pipes then go to halfords and get some self amalgamating (spell) tape.

  6. Well........ Seems like I've buggered either my rad or a pipe to the rad lol.

Pulled upto fill the g60 with vpower and as I started filling up I noticed a lot.... And I mean a lot of steam, after the way my valver went I actually started reaching under the drivers seat for the extinguisher.... Just incase.

Can see no fluid dripping or anything but I think tomorrow I'm gonna chuck some radweld through. Hope it will last til I can sell my old exhaust and splash on a new Rad instead of my front mounted cooler

  7. Hellllllp!!!!!

got back in from a nice drive out, wanted to check the strut top(slight knocking) pull the bonnet release...... Snap!!!

Who knows the best way to get the bonnet open now lol, managed to get the grill off but what do I pop next?

  8. I've recently upgraded to gtechniq's rain repellant it works at lower speeds to the rain-x. Doesn't judder only draw back is on first application you need to use there cleaner(supplied in the kit) before layering up the protectant(3 coats). Does the job tho, I could sit watching the water just run off the windows

  9. Well after a hectic week full of arguments, fires and just down right daftness I decided to strip down and remove the engine from my valver with looks at swapping it with a g60 lump that my mate new off. And a snip at £850. So plans were made, move into my new flat Friday, start early sat to get the bay ready for said mate bringing the lump down. Friday went without a hitch Saturday was full of swearing, rounded bolts and troublesome parts...... And when my mate showed up I didnt know if I should laugh or cry.... It wasn't just the lump.... It was a full c!! With a folder of work done. Up on the ramp and had one of the mot testers check it over.

Now I have a knackered valver and a g60.. Which only needs pads and disks all round a tyre and then to sort out an over fueling problem which I think is down to a boost valve that's been fitted.... And then I've got 175bhp on my right foot(got the rolling road data from a year back)

So that's 2 c's in less than 8months!! And bOth for under a grand
