Thinking about it it might be the top bearing is to tight or not moving forcing the spring to move when turning

Hi i have just fitted weitec suspension to my vr6. moved it off my drive and the osf spring has jumped off its seat. Is this because the top mounting plate which sitts on the spring is to small or did i just fit it incorrectly . I had to use original as the kit didnt come with any. Any advise would be great
