I'm looking at buying a rado, but though the first one I've seen looked mint - upon further inspection the drivers sill was literally falling apart in chunks. Is this a common problem? What else do I look out for? And finally, does any one want to sell me their rado? I can't find any for the price I can afford or who wants to swap or p/x mind :( lol Cheers in advance!

I'm new to corrados, so forgive me but what's a nugget c?

Right, I've been into my Golfs for a while, and have has a MK2 8V GTI and currently own a MK3 8V Anniversary. Pic attached :thumbleft: However, I've liked Corrados for a while and really, REALLY want one. I went to look at a nice one last night, but was unsure what problem areas to look for. The drivers sill was badly corroded however, and the plate where the VIN is stamped into the body was a different colour/sanded down effect. Other than that, I've no idea! Also, I'm currently looking for a 1.8 16V or 2.0 16V. Are they solid choices? I'm not after a 2.0 8V or a VR6 (cost!) and a G60 is not for me, as I don't want to have to pay for supercharger rebuilds. Any help would be much appreciated.
