  2. hello veedub, this problem just happend to my VR6, like you i thought it was the battery so i bought i new one, but that made no difference, after a while of looking under the bonnet checking all the usual parts but to no avail, i looked in the fuse box and one of the big black fuses no. 21 i think had managed to pull itself out.(don't know how?) I pushed it back in then it started first time. At first it was a bit ropey but the next day it was running perfect. hope this helps. Ian.
  3. CAT itself is fine just the heats shield is falling apart, looks like i will have to try and squeeze underneath with a jubilee clip. thanks for the advice everyone the cheque is in the post VR6. :)
  4. Hi folks i need a bit of help, i need to replace the heat shield that goes on the CAT, VW in woking have just quoted £400, does anyone know where i could pick one up myself. I have tried GSF and euro but no luck. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ian.
  5. I've had 140 from mine (private road obviously) felt good at the time quite smooth, 150 is definatley possible :D

    Hopefully this post has worked. The last one i had a bit of trouble with. Just here to say that i've just purchased a VR6 and i'm lovin' it :D . The only thing is, that it needs to be a bit/lot lower, I currently have koni suspension which i would like to keep, will this be a problem? any feed back would be greatly recieved.
