2.0 16v | Burgundy Red | Aylesbury, bucks Price: £1100 Description: Looking for a hassle free quick sale. £1100 with black 17" team dynamics racing R's, need a refurb to be mint VW corrado 2.0 16v. Mot and Tax until May 2012. 2 folders full of history along with document list of work done. Tastfully modified: KR inlet cam + new followers, Cream ‘Storm’ leather interior Full jetex 2 box system. Immaculate Brock B1’s, with yokohama tyres, good tread. Arches professionally rolled. Custom remap DG autotech. AP coilover with C spanner for adjustment. Polybushed rear beam. Brembo Max discs and EBC green stuff pads. Rolling roaded at 144bhp. 3 different rolling road print out showing progress off the work done. Fk debadged front grille. Working Passat moon roof. OBC showing, MPG, oil temp etc..etc.. Electric windows, mirrors and rear spoiler all work, Heaters work fine (common problems on these corrado’s) Runs really well and sticks to the road like glue. Sills and arches have been undersealed previously. List of work carried out: 2009 Cambelt waterpump and tensioner at 105,502 along with KR inlet cam. Brembo disc and EBC pads. Clutch master cylinder. Injectors cleaned. New distributor. AP coilover with top mounts. Upper strut bearings replaced. New front engine mounts. 2010 New ignition switch. New rear passenger and drivers side wheel bearing. New alternator belt. 2011 New bosch injectors, dizzy cap and rotor arm. Fk debadged front grille. Serviced 5000 miles ago. Bad points No headlining, never had it when I purchased it. some rust on drivers sill, Tiny rust bubbles around wheel arches, nothing major at all. Bodywork is not mint, usual chip and dents as expected with a car this age. With the 17" wheels it currently has 5mm spacers, I would buy 10mm if I was keeping it as on full lock it fouls the suspension. I cannot find the logbook atm, but I will give a full receipt and complete a V62 form for the new owner. No stereo included. Located in Aylesbury, Bucks

The brocks look brilliant, but I live near high kerbs and worried about messing them up, They are still immaculate. I would be looking for £600 or just keep them until I get another e30. I will get some pics up soon.

I had a look at it yesterday, i'm fairly sure its the cold start injector as I removed it and placed it in a bottle and only a little bit of fuel came out. I'm going to fix it and advertise it and drive it around until may when T+T finishes if it doesn't sell them it will be broken. So there is still time, hopefully it will be saved. I removed the brocks and added 17" Team dynamics racing R, which are lightweight and make a big difference to the drive of the car. Any ideas where I can get a cold start injector from? Cheap as, because I'm broke at the moment. :(

Yeah I saw the hayes manual which had all the stuff written in, and was well impressed clearly alot of care and attention has gone into the car. Thanks, you have given me something to go on, I just hope its something simple, hate to say this to you, but I'm comtemplating breaking it as I don't really have the time to fix it. But hopefully will not come to that.

You didnt sell the car to me mate. I swapped my e30 for it, I think the guy you sold it too didnt have it for long, probably because of the issues that it has. He didnt tell me anything It refuses to start at all now. It my first corrado so unsure where to look, but will hopefully get it sorted soon. Did it have a headlining when you had it? when it drove it did drive really well

I thought it would belong to someone on here. Got to take my hat off to you, there is alot of work gone into the car. I still got all your old reciepts. I might be putting it up for sale soon, as I'm looking to get a 125cc bike, i'm shamed to say. Did you ever replace the starter?

Anyone please help, it will save me from a hire car this christmas. What I need to know is will a faulty Cold start valve cause the car not to start, or should i be looking elsewhere? -
As above, either close to HP19 or posted.

I had a problem with my cold start valve so I disconnected it (electrical connector only, was going to remove the whole thing too, can had not been started for 2 days so was stone cold at the time) as recommended on a previous post: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?59947-Newbie-with-cold-start-problem-overfueling The car didnt start with it disconnected, I reconnected the connector and it still failed to start. Now, no matter what I try the car will not start. It turns over but fails to start. Before it would start and cut out, until i held the throttle open. Could this new problem be due to the cold start valve being totally fudged now? Also there was a white plug which was disconnected down the side of the engine, behind the cold start valve, anyone know what this is? Im guessing this was the temp sensor? Thanks in advance. I needed the car over christmas too!

Im just being lazy and cannot be bother to remove my alloys in the rain, Anyone know the centre bore size on a valver? ---------- Post added at 11:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:19 PM ---------- sorry found it, its 57.1, i will do a search next time

Thanks for the replies. It sounds like its not working. I will investigate today and report back. If i need a new one where is the best place to buy it? Will it have a part no written on it?
-
Thanks for the reply, the 27 mpg was on a country road doing 50-70, although I think that the OBC might be faulty as petrol gauge has not moved as much. Do these cars have a low fuel warning light? The thing that bothers me most is the starting issue.... Where is the diagnostic plug on these? What are they obd1?

I had a quick search, looks like the fueling will either be the lambda or temp sensor. But cannot find much on the starting issue. Can these be connected?
