Today was the day I said goodbyes to the G60-engine... Hoping to find suitable 1.8T soon. :roll:

The headlights needed a little work, they took about three days, including the hoods extension and the sides... Some welding... And the original fasteners (don't know the correct name for them, but the thing under the hood that keep it closed?) needed to go to get the new lights deep enough. And new fasteners (again probably the wrong word for them) for the light needed to be made by welding. Erm... Some new pics... Almost finished. Two days to go untill the Tuning Car Show 2004 in Helsingin Messukeskus. The lights are from E36. The grill is made from the original.

The project has advanced quite a lot... I'm not familiar with the traffic rules in other countries, but anyway one Citroén C5 with an aluminium cart came straight infront of my Kadett, when I was in priority... It's a little hard to explain it in English... :roll:

Yep, turbocharged it was...And that's right, it didn't come with the turbo originally. Mine had 2-liter 8V engine with KKK-K03 -turbo (same as the one that 1.8T-engine has) and DTA E48 engine management system.

After a few years of dreaming I finally got my own C, after my earlier car (Opel Kadett) was wrecked. The C that I bought was deffinately not in the best possible condition, but well, it is a starting project, so I guess it doesn't really matter. My C is G60, but going to be changed into 1.8T... And I should make some sort of bodykit for it, and new alloys of course... And some other things. :wink:
