  1. It's a 16v corrado that I'm upgrading to put calipers and carriers from a g60 on
  2. Who is biggred and how do I contact them? Thanks
  3. Fair enough, your right i am attempting to push back rather then wind back, if they are seized what can i do?
  4. Afternoon all, trying to upgrade my front calipers and come across a problem with the new (2nd hand) ones i've bought. i'm attempting to wind them back, have got one in now (not without a hell of a lot of effort mind you) but the other wont move, so much so in fact that i've bent the metal retaining plate on the wind back tool. do this indicate it seized? or knackered or what? any ideas what i can do? cheers!
  5. Afternoon all Just a quick question, anyone know where I can get a koni adjustment knob, or have a spare one they wanna sell for a reasonable price? I know I can just use pliers but it's nice to have the right tools Cheers
  6. Afternoon all, just a quick question ... I have a 16v corrado and i'm upgrading to G60 calipers (g54) My existing standard calipers have a short solid brake line attached to them (and a bracket holding it in place) this looks like it would fit into the new calipers (which dont have this adaptor)however the problem is when attempting to get it of i've rounded the nut on the solid line so struggling to get it off and even if i do i dont really wanna put it on the new calipers with the rounded end. after a bit of googling it seems that the flexi lines for my car are both terminate with female ends (hence the need to the solid line adaptor) but found someone saying that the vr6 flexi lines have a male and female end, so can i just forget about the adaptor and replace the flexi lines with vr6 lines straight into the caliper? or do i need to find replacement solid lines? i've had no luck in finding these anywhere yet any help would be appreciated cheers
  7. Many thanks for the offer but i have now purchased some from another forum member.
  8. that's great thanks for the help, new sensor now ordered :)
  9. hello all, sorry but i have to ask a dumb question (if you don’t know you have to ask) So i recently bought my 1.8 16v corrado and have been learning a few bits and pieces, replacing rocker cover gasket, a few coolant flanges and general service and tidy up and was kinda proud of my self too since i've never done any of this before, however when i was tinkering the other day i've managed to break off a wire connected via a thin piece of balck plastic to a nut on the right side of my engine near the top at close to the front next to the coolant flange and unfortunately i have no idea what it is therefore cannot buy one to replace it. My only thought was that it could be an earthing wire and if so can i just wrap the bare wire round the nut and tighten? or should i replace the whole nut or even the whole wire. i've looked through my haynes manual but can find no mention. Another thought is that its a temp sensor? sorry if this is a stupid question but i am new at this and trying to learn everyone has got to start somewhere thanks in advance
  10. Hello all, I’m still a bit new around here but you guys have been great so far thought I’d see if any of you want to make some money out of me I’ve been having a bit of shudder through my brake pedal on my 1.8 16v corrado and am assuming this is a warped disk issue. But rather than just change the disks thought it would be a good excuse to upgrade to G60s so I’m after callipers and carriers (think this is all I need to do the upgrade but would be happy to be corrected) Anyway if anyone has any for a sensible price please let me know. Thanks
