nice one thanks for all getting back so soon, Lee you mentioned paint I'm unfairmilular with what is actually involved in the process of rolling the arch do they need to spray somewhere after or is that just to protect the arch from rust, thanks daz

I've tried halfords and they no longer do arch rolling, I've tried Moto-craft in pudsey and they say it could cost up 2 500pound is that right!

Could the problem with the water warning light be effecting my rev counter because thats also flicks on and off, it seems to be when I have the heating is on full.

can anybody help I have a MK1 1.8 and the water warning light keeps coming on every now and again, I check the water and its fine, the oil temp seems fine too stays under 100 degrees. The light has started to flash a lot more often, but the water still seems fine. Does anybody have any idea of what it could be, nice one thanks daz

Hi I've just put some ats et28 15/7 with 195/50 tyres on the back of my MK1 but I'm having loads of problems as there catching on the arches. Does anybody know where I can get my arches rolled, if it will solve the problem and aprox how much it will cost? thanks Daz

can anybody help, I'm thinking of buying a red MK1 but I'm not sure if it is a good deal? its an 1982 A reg in mars red. Its had a respay a few years ago, a 1.8 engine out of a j reg cab put into it, it also a a full stainless steel exaust and some manefould fitted. It has half lether interior and ats classic alloys but one is buckled. There is no history with it and needs a new sunroof. The owner is asking £1800 for it, is there anything major to look out for and do you think the asking price is ok ?
