crusied at 125 for about 2 hours with a halfway break to let my co pilot have a go for an hour. we were on autobahn in s. germany. 2.0 l 16v car was fully loaded with holiday stuff and 2 mountain bikes in boot. she had plenty of pull at that speed, it put a massive smile on both of our faces for ages! :D

mate has a G60 for 6 years now, still running sweet. During that time I went through 2 ford escorts never heard of them before seein his. When finance allowed got a CRX: great car but rust got it! sad to see it go, however... always loved the drive of the corrado, wished i could have one, until last year CRX gave up the ghost and I purchased beautiful example of a 2.0 16v 77000 great history etc. still lovin it, dirves great, nice and torquey , pulls heads and the spoiler risin at 60 never ceases to amuse. :D

I'm a teacher and have been 'indoctrinating' my children bout the joys of corrados... theyr'e 9 years old and think my 2.0 16v is awesome. got some kids with behavioural problems and as a treat I showed them the spoiler operation, got a full days work out of them. most kids haven't a clue what a corrado is, they do in my school!! Turns heads in the staff car park with parents though.
