1. As far as I am aware yes you may when your suspension has been removed find you need new top mount's I know a lot of people do that when fitting new suspension. This kit is complete no parts are missing and a couple of others have fitted it recently and have reported back positively.
2. The front's were straight onto the hub but I have Cupra r Disc's and Brembo's on the rears had either a 6 or 8mm spacer on. They are 8" wide and ET25.
3. Not sure is the honest answer I assume you are asking due to the way the TH's sit on the front?
4. Thank's chap's they really are like new only done a couple of thousand miles and you can't get them new anymore.
5. Cheer's Kev I don't like the poke and crazy tyre stretch either the way my TH's sat were the way I like them. I thought you would prefer the RC's but the RS's are only really for show's I do love the RC's for showing the brake's.
6. Kind word's Nick but your car is amazing too mate I think RS's would look awesome on your car too I had to get them after missing them previously a red G60 has appeared in my area in the last few month's and is running BBS's when I saw it on that day I knew I had to have a set very lucky both the set's showed up at the right time and in 5x100 make's life so much easier :)
7. Cheer's bud I do love them both just need to get a couple of spacer's for the back and I'll be happy
8. I am not finished yet Baz the car will be out next year although I can't guarantee you will see it as it will be going to show's north of the border cumbria vag fest and a couple of other south of the border Tatton being one as I have some mates in the north west but nothing really south of Tatton but who know's. IT WILL BE OUT AND ABOUT. I think I've done about 3k mile's in it so far..
9. The Rs's are strictly for special occasion's (Show's/National day) Mark appreciate your comment's mate especially when you have such immpeccable taste yourself.
10. Compomotive TH 16660's Ok folk's due to buying the wheel's I have been after for a while now there is no room for these they are Matt black TH16660's 8"x16" 5x100 ET25 and they fit a Corrado like a glove the Tyre's are 205/45/16 ZR rated PZero Nero's with plenty of tread (rear's are almost new) one of the wheel's has been very lightly kerbed which is unnoticable unless you are looking for. Wheel's will come with chrome centre cap's I have a set of the anodised red cap's which are available for additional cost.I have pic's on my member's thread of these on my car the front's were bolted to the hub's the rears had a 8mm spacer to bring them out which resulted in a great stance. As I'm sure many of you are aware these cannot be obtained new anymore these are as close to new there is available. Thank's for looking List Date: 8/13/2014 For more info, click here to view the original listing: Compomotive TH 16660's -------------------------------------- This item is no longer available. -------------------------------------- Mobile friendly version: Compomotive TH 16660's Go Mobile: Download the free Panjo iOS app now!
11. How's it going Edd not seen you on here for a while. I do understand your where you are coming from however I would like to get back what I paid for them which was £550 also I would assume you will be getting someone else to fit these for you if this is the case and you get a dated invoice from when it is fitted I'm pretty sure you could approach Bilstein themselves if you had any issues in the 12 month period which I'm sure the both of us know you won't (or very unlikely to have). Anyway Pm me what you have in mind I can only say no :thumbleft:
12. Thank's Micheal you were right about the RC's on a Dark coloured car one of my mates when he seen the RC's off the car said "They are too modern for your car" However today when I put them on he held his hand's up and said they looked awesome. The wheel's are why I have put the Bilstein B12 kit up for sale as these wheel's need a low car and the KW's are best for that. July 92 mate just checked and yes they do live in the house. Mike is the man when it comes to BBS's I'll ask his advice cheer's Micheal :thumbleft:
13. I'll have a check Chris thank's. The dishes with that blue like haze is awesome bolt's can stay. I can't wait to see it either mate there is alot of bit's to do first though. Recon steering rack is next as mine is leaking has done since I got the car.. EDIT July 92 so yeah 22 years old unbelievable for the condition of them.
14. Thank's I do love the both I now need to sell the Comp's and a couple of other set's now I have the BBS's
15. Thank's Chris I certainly won't be doing them until I know for sure now you have said that. Also the attraction of these wheel's is the fact they are original and as they came out the factory I will not do anything that will change that. Do you know how old they are?
16. No worries Jamie I'll keep it in mind for the future though :thumbleft: Cheer's Dan I can't help it mate :D
17. Thank's guy's I would like to thank Daren for selling them to me and going out his way on a wkend to come halfway up England to meet me top bloke and has looked after the wheel's since he bought them. The only bugbear I have with them is the fact that due to them being so well looked after over the year's and polished so much the BBS on some of the bolt head's has all but been buffed off however I have sourced a full set of RS nut's and bolt's with the BBS in mint condition. Another job for over the winter. More update's soon ;)
18. After I purchased the RC's from Goldie (thanks Micheal)another set of wheel's came up for sale that I have wanted on my car after seeing them on another Forum member's car at Stanford Hall. Anyway they had been sold on and I was kicking myself at the time for missing them so when they came up again I had to get them this time.So after a 650 mile round trip to get them here they are I'm sure most on here will know who's old wheel's they are. I had them on with the 8mm spacer front and rear and think they sit quite well here's a rear view I've got a couple more pic's on my phone I'll post up.
19. More pic's bit close to the Brembo's not to worry put the 8mm spacers I had on the front that's better :)
20. Ok folk's I've not updated this for a while I have changed my mind regarding which direction to go with wheel's. This is what I was running I now have these which I got off Goldie I know the front's look a little tucked in the pic I have fitted an 8mm spacer to the front's I'll post other pic's as they are on my phone. The Comp's are for sale I will get an ad up shortly.
21. Nice one Andy I'll get on to them 2moro just read your thread in general chat cheeky swines. I actually phoned Glasgow power steering first thing this morning the lady on the phone took my details and said she would get someone to phone me back no phone call. I'll just get a recon Cheer's Andy James.
22. I could be wrong Matt JMR will keep you right..
23. Matt your 16's were made to run big brakes being motorsport wheel's I imagine they suggest 17's to cover more wheel's.
