Thinking of just breaking my G60 Caddy if I get enough interest....Here's the spec of what's on it, if you're interested in any parts, drop me a PM with an offer and we can sort something out. Engine has been pulled due to low compression on cylinders 2 & 3, I have taken the head off and all valves etc are good, pistons 2&3 are leaking, there's no scores or anything on the cylinders but there is some wear so no doubt the best route would be bore out. 2001 VW Caddy van with Supercharged Corrado G60 conversion & Stage 4 rebuild carried out by Jabbasport. *13 Months MOT (Passed with no advisories) * 3 Months Tax * Mileage showing roughly 16,700 miles as new limited edition clocks were fitted during the rebuild. * Donor engine came from a FSH Corrado * Gas Flowed Big Valve Head * Schrick 272 degree cams * Gas Flowed exhaust manifold * Gas Flowed Inlet * Supercharger had Stage 4 rebuild less than 7000 miles ago also by Jabbasport with certificate * 68mm Pulley * G-Werks Chip * Front Mount Alloy Intercooler with Samco Hoses * Pipercross panel filter * Full new s/s exhaust * Audi S2 Twin Pot Calipers with G60 discs and Pads * V-Maxx Front Coilovers, axle flipped with Boge Turbo Beetle Shocks * Boost & Oil Pressure gauges fitted * Alpine Head Unit * Golf VR6 Seats * VR6 Rear Seats are available but haven't been fitted. * Sebring Alloys

G60 | Red VW Caddy | Glasgow Price: £1000 Description: Hi All, Being sold as spares or repair due to needing a head gasket....Low compression showing between cylinders 2 & 3. This van has had thousands spent on it but I just don't have the time or money just now to put it back on the road. I believe (although could be wrong) this is the only Caddy G60 with this spec in the UK...Here's the details: 2001 VW Caddy van with Supercharged Corrado G60 conversion & Stage 4 rebuild carried out by Jabbasport. *13 Months MOT (Passed with no advisories) * 3 Months Tax * Mileage showing roughly 16,700 miles as new limited edition clocks were fitted during the rebuild. * Donor engine came from a FSH Corrado * £££'s worth of work on the head including: * Gas Flowed Big Valve Head * Schrick 272 degree cams * Gas Flowed exhaust manifold * Gas Flowed Inlet * Supercharger had Stage 4 rebuild less than 7000 miles ago also by Jabbasport with certificate * 68mm Pulley * G-Werks Chip * Pipercross panel filter * Full new s/s exhaust * Audi S2 Twin Pot Calipers with G60 discs and Pads * V-Maxx Front Coilovers, axle flipped with Boge Turbo Beetle Shocks * Boost & Oil Pressure gauges fitted * Alpine Head Unit * Golf VR6 Seats * Rear Seats are available but haven't been fitted. * 15" Sebring Alloys Feel free to make me an offer on it...If you've any questions fire away :) Thanks Brian

Here's the spec of what's on the van just now: Gasflowed big valve head Schrick 272 degree cams Front mount alloy intercooler 68mm pulley G-Werks chip Pipercross panel filter Schrick baffled sump Gasflowed exhaust manifold New s/s exhaust G60 Disc & Pads with Audi S2 twin pot calliper V-maxx front coilovers Axle flipped with boge turbo beetle shocks Recent Stage 4 Supercharger Rebuild by Jabbasport To be honest I've not stripped the head back to see what the damage is...won't get round to it til the weekend. I'm really needing a quick(ish) fix to get it back on the road....Looks like either a repair or a straight swap would be best for me depending on what I find. I'm hoping that it's just the head gasket but as we all know it can be a lot worse than that once I crack it open. It'd be a shame to drop this engine out because it's had a hell of a lot of work done to it but I just don't have the time or indeed a couple of grand to start throwing at it just now unfortunately! Just done a quick compression check and here's what I got... cyl 1 - 100psi cyl 2 - 60psi cyl 3 - 85psi and cyl 4 -100psi. Need to get a look at the Bentley when I get home to see what they should be at....I'm hoping that just the gasket has gone between 2 & 3 but I'm no mechanic so I'll get the old boy to cast an expert eye over it.

Lion, would it drop straight in or would I need to modify anything? Could you pallet it for me so I could arrange a courier? Thanks Brian

Just blown the G60 engine (PG Code) in my Caddy and looking for something else, will a VR6 engine drop straight in?? If anyone has anything that'll go, please drop me a message and let me know along with the details and price. Much appreciated :) Brian

Thanks Anne! :) Thanks Jim and yeah it does, it's absolutely ballistic...good fun though...it's a task to try and get all the power down on the road it just spins out in every gear...certainly raises a few eyebrows haha

Thanks John, turns out that's what it was for, there was a boost gauge fitted in the cab and I hadn't even checked if it was working...the t piece that I pictured was broken, must have been why it was taped off....Anyway, I've replaced it and and the boost gauge is now connected up and working. Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated.

Just dropping past to say a quick hello :D Recently bought a 2001 Caddy that's had a G60 conversion so I know it's not quite a Corrado well not on the outside anyway but I look forward to picking your brains on the engine and tuning side of things. Here's a quick list of some of the mods it's had done, no doubt there's scope for a few more: Engine Conversion, now running a rebuilt Supercharged G60 engine from Jabbasport Piper Cams Ported & Polished Head Flowed Inlet Flowed Exhaust Manifold 68mm Pulley G-Werks Chip Pipercross Panel Filter G60 Disks & Pads Audi S2 Calipers VMaxx Coilovers on the front...flipped axle with beetle shocks on the rear Custom Stainless Exhaust

Hi All, Looking for a little bit of help if possible? I've just bought a Caddy with a G60 Conversion, I noticed that this piece was taped over, on taking the tape off the black plastic part has a hole that is blowing air, couple of questions, sorry if their silly! ha 1. What is it? 2 Should it be blanked off or should it be piped up to something? Thanks for the help in advance :) Brian
