Sweet_Audio started following The definitive "what exhaust?" discussion thread! and Hi from Leicester!

OK, so picked up the Rado yesterday. No problems at all on the 2hr drive home to Leicester, all looks good. She's in better shape than I thought! Only issues are - -Intermittent flat-spot when flooring it in 1st / 2nd gear (only happens sometimes, thinking maybe spark plugs?) -Missing Bottom-Dash / Fuse Cover (the fixings are intact, so if I can locate one, it should be an easy fit....any ideas where guys?) -The guy who had it last took out the CD player and all of the output leads going down to the junction box next to the clutch pedal so I have to find a set of leads and work out how to fit them (really annoying!!) not sure where to get these or how much they will be. Good points - All the electrics work as stated in the ad, engine seems in decent shape, all service history going back to day one and the inside has been very well kept. All in all, very pleased so far. Will get some pics up this week!

Hi James, Thanks for taking the time to have a look at this for me. I plan to spend a bit of time there checking every electrical part possible, i've even created a tick sheet lol. I noticed the fuse cover tray was missing, could be a b!tch to fit if its smashed or broken i guess. The wiper bolt covers and tow eye hook cover I hadnt spotted, so thanks for the heads up, I magine these will be easy enough to get hold of, and hopefully cheap. The crack im not sure about, its hard to tell from the picture, I will be there tomorrow around 5pm to see the car so fingers crossed all is OK. Will post my findings and some pics on Sunday. Cheers everyone for your input! :smug:

Cheers Guys, will post some pics on Sunday when I collected and cleaned her up

Cheers for the advice! Will have a good checkover once I pick her up on Saturday. A few of the guys on here who are fairly local have offered to cast an eye too, which is just amazing. Im so glad i joined this forum as everyone seems to be so knowledgable when it comes to Rado's. PEACE

Thanks for the replies. I'd love to stop by at Harewood but Im not over in York til around 6pm, not sure I will have time to get there. I will definitely be attending a show before the season is out though :) I work in Loughborough Parkervr6 so will give you a shout if any issues, everyone on here seems to be really helpful and friendly. The car i've bought is here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280937663728?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 If anyone has a chance, would you mind casting a quick eye of expretise on it to see if you can spot any obvious issues? I've already agreed to buy it but would be good if I had a heads up. Cheers Folks! ---------- Post added at 12:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:54 AM ----------

Thanks for getting back to me quickly. Yeah I have a Mr Tyre near me in Leics who apparently fit power flow so think i'll give them a shout (providing the car doesnt blow up on the way back from York!) Defo up for fitting a K&N too. Cant wait to pick her up, been waiting for this moment for years. hearing mixed things about the pace of them though, some say they are sluggish, others nippy. TOO EXCITED - just want Saturday to come now!

Hi, I'm new here...and to Corrado's. Due to pick up my 2.0 8V 1994 on Saturday from York. I literally cant wait. Having seen a few of the threads on here I must admit I'm a little worried that I might have a job on my hands though :S I imagine I will be spending plenty of time on here (when im meant to be working lol) asking for advice so would welcome any pointers for Corrado NOOBS! PEACE

Hi, I'm new here - 1st post!! Just bought a 94' 2.0 V8 in red on eBay - collecting Saturday (cant wait). It will be my first Corrado after years of perving on them from inferior cars :) Just wondered where you got your exhaust done as I want to get a few bit done on mine in the coming months to improve performance? Any help would be appreciated!
