Thanks for your reply's it is a 2.0 8v ady engine and once it is started it runs fine and idles fine. It has already had an ignition switch due to a different issue lol but this problem started before I changed that. And thanks Cazza I will be trying that tommorow.

My car has this really annoying problem where when I go to start it fires strait up but then immediately cuts out but dosnt do it all the time. Like yesterday morning it did it and I tryed for ten minuits before having to ask my brother to help try and bump it and as soon as I let the clutch out it started a ran fine. When I finished work it started first turn of the key as it did this morning in about the same conditions and weather. After work today though it took five goes before starting and I stopped at the garage for two minuits and then took me about ten goes before it started. Im just worried because its so unpredictable and it annoys the hell out of me lol. If anybody can help it would be much appreciated. Thanks Tom.

Thanks for that man but I think id rather have a set of second hand inpros than cheap copy ones haha. Are they set up for right hand drive and have you gone through your MOT with them? Its just mine has just failed on nakered headlights so that's the main reason for buying them lol. So if they are all sound and working correctly I will have them thanks mate. Tom

Just failed its mot because I have a broken headlight so I either need one drivers side headlight or would like a set of inpros if anybody has any. Could really do with them before thursday if possible haha cheers tom

I fixed it! thanks jon_vr6 for the link you posed, came in very helpful lol. Just mine hasn't got the bolts to loosen off to give you more room to work with so had to bend a screwdriver and was very fiddly but got there in the end haha, Cheers fellers, Tom

Thank you all for your replies I'm gonna try and get one tomorrow and get it on because I can't be bumping it every time I need to start it haha, until then I'm not looking forward to doing it at 6 tomorrow morning before I go to work but will definatly be giving the key wiggling a go before I push lol. Hi everybody I'm having some ignition trouble, what happens is when I go to start the car all the red lights come on as normal but when I turn the key nothing at all happens with the engine. I've just had to bump it to get me home from work and once started its fine. Apparently there is something behind the barrel which will be the culprit but I just don't know what it is or called or where I can get one from lol :/ If anybody could give me some pointers that would be great :) Thanks Tom

Cheers man but adapters seem to be quite expensive and I was just looking for a cheap set of wheels of that style that I could have a go at referbing because I'm an apprentice car painter. Cheers though bud.
