Morning all i have 8 metres of seal purchased from seals direct, part number ETS2581 this is the closest to the factory standard issue part. Never been used and still on the roll. I have an invoice for £84.98, ideally looking for £40 + P&P which i would guess is about £10 due to the weight. Cheers Oli

Car is now sold VR6 | Midnight blue | Sandbach, Cheshire Price: £750 Description: Evening all I now this may sound cliché but its true. I am having to sell my midnight blue VR6 as I am going through a separation with my wife. I purchased the car last year, Reading through its had 5 previous owners, a stack of history and old MOT's, my plan was to restore her completely to standard. I removed the heated black leather interior 2 months ago to replace the carpet and have the drivers seat re-trimmed. I was looking to freshen up the soundproofing, I got it back from the trimmers at the weekend and put the drivers seat in to take her out for a run on Monday, it seems she has developed a misfire, as above with my financial circumstance being under close scrutiny I cannot justify exploratory or even remedial work on the car. Looking through the paperwork the chain does not seem to have been done, the car has covered 164,000 miles. The original speedline wheels have been re-furbed and fitted with brand new falken tyres. Everything works, heater, sunroof and spoiler. There is little bits of rust here and there but nothing that cannot be re-solved easily, the car has MOT till early next year but I have sent the tax off today and a form to declare the car as sorn. No pictures at the moment but will try and sort over the weekend. The car is fitted with an airfilter and performance exhaust although unsure of make and model. In an ideal world the car would sell quickly, interested parties are welcome to view but please do not insult me with a really low offer. Just to re-cap the interior bar the the drivers seat is not fitted but will be sold with the car. The door handles have been fixed by dave off this forum. Evening all, after my recent success in the wanted section I decided to post this as a long shot. I am looking for a mint black leather heated seat, no real need for a full interior but if anyone has just a seat and or driver and passenger seat I would be grateful! Cheers Oliver

Evening all, after the above length of plastic that sits on the top of the door card (VR6 black leather interior) above the weather strip on the inside, would like to know if anyone has replaced or bought a replacement water shredder that sits behind the door card as both sides are pretty goosed... Only a small but significant part! The 2 springs that sit on the pin connected to the crossmember area that allow the seat to move back and forth. Ideally need 2 and mine are overstretched and popping out! Also looking for the plastic trim that sits at the top of the door card N/S Thanks Oli

Evening all, after removing my handles and sending them away to dave 16v (brilliant service I may add) I have come to re-fit and noticed I have lost the plastic bit that sits at the front of the handle to form a seal.. Does anyone have one so I can get my handle back on! Cheers Oli

Long story short... my brother moved my corrado out of my unit, it has remote central locking and it wasn't open and he pulled the handle, no metallic noises were heard (apparently) but the handle then had no resistance and was almost 'baggy'. I spoke to the previous owner and he has already replaced the door handle parts that are prone to break, I finally got it open and removed the handle and door card, what I did notice was when I tried to lock and unlock when the above happened the door pin moved a small amount but not enough to use the interior handle to open... My question is could this be an actuator issue or should order the handle repair kit off ebay? Cheers Oli

Have tried a search but not really found anything to answer my questions... First off gearbox, first gear feels quite long when selecting and if selected quickly it crunches/grinds on the left side of the gearstick Second is starting, i always let the car prime before turning over, noticed a hesitation starting today and then a whirring when the car turned over which last maybe 2 seconds (another thought i had when i heard the noise is it sounds like the a cockeral or old ford model t horn) Ideas welcome Cheers Oli

Will do, cleaning her up at the minute, dropped her off with a friend who runs a well known detailing business for a freshen up of the paintwork and leather. The car came with big wheels so have dropped the standards off for powder coating so hopefully photos in the next week...

Just picked up a 94 blue VR6 after 22 years of waiting. My mum had one when we lived in germany and i promised myself i would buy one. Memory lane, what an a amazing car! Cheers Oli
