  1. Hi, I broke a VR6 last year that was fitted with Diavia air conditioning. Unfortunately I wasn't able to remove everything prior to the car going but I got the following bits: So that's the compressor, condenser, radiator, a couple of lengths of pipework and the instruction booklet. I'm not sure how much use it is to anyone but I'll take £20 for the lot, collected from me in Derbyshire, DE7. If you want it posting that's cool but it'll be £15 extra to get it couriered. Cheers Tom
  2. Hi, Being the hoarder that I've finally acknowledged I am (and am having extensive rehab for) I have kept every single piece of Corrado interior trim that I've ever acquired, in case it comes in useful in the future. That use is now more likely to be for someone else so I'm offering it all for free to the first person who comes to collect it. It consists of the following: x4 black gloveboxes x3 centre tunnel trims (front and rear) x2 sets of dash under trays and fuse box covers (no clips before you ask!!) x3 bootlid trim covers Plus various others random bits of trim as I find it. It is ALL black, so no cream coloured stuff unfortunately. I don't want to entertain having to post it for fear of it getting damaged and I'd just like it out of the way as soon as possible please, so first to come to get it wins it. Location is Derbyshire DE7. Thanks Tom
  3. Hi, Back in 2013 when I built my last VR6 I removed this steering wheel due to it having some cracking on the top edge. I kept it with the intention of one day getting it retrimmed however I don't think this is going to happen so it's time to move it on. It's in good condition other than the cracking of which I've taken a pic with and without flash (it looks horrendous with the flash but it's not actually that bad!) £30 posted please! Thanks Tom
  4. Hi, I've got a late spec dragon green front bumper, in what I would say is reasonable to good condition, complete with 90mm splitter, lower grille and bumper iron. The splitter has a crack in each of yhe corners but nothing major. The grille is in good condition albeit the N/S towing eye cover is missing. Iron is good and the splitter support piece is good with minimal corrosion. It's taking up room in my workshop so £40 collected please! Location Derbyshire DE7. Thanks Tom
  5. Hi, Another hoarded item - a black uncut parcel shelf in good condition. Both straps are broken but I kept it as a spare. No longer needed. £30 posted please. Thanks Tom
  6. OEM Corrado bonnet release cable. Removed from a VR6 but should fit all versions. The pesky clip at the handle end is fully intact and it was removed correctly (i.e. unscrewed from outer trumpet and pulled through, then reassembled). Couple of small kinks in the cable but still slides correctly and more importantly works every time! Includes handle, cable, bulkhead grommet (decent condition), both trumpets and the spacer piece that goes under the slam panel. The polystyrene 'beads' on this have seen better days but they're only there to stop it rattling and still do that job perfectly well. £50 including UK delivery. Stone
  7. Hi, I've got a very good condition genuine VW radiator and fans complete that I have no use for. I've kept the radiator as a spare for a number of years as I removed it from a car that I broke in 2011 - it had only recently been fitted to that car. I then fitted it temporarily to the dragon green VR6 that I've recently broken and it is now sitting in my workshop surplus to requirements as I've come to terms with the fact that I probably won't have another Corrado again. The radiator itself is in vey good condition, some very minor deformation of a few of the fins but nothing that half an hour with some fine nosed pliers wouldn't sort. The fans are original but fully functional with the plug undamaged and belt intact. In order to get them gone I'm offering them at £120 posted for the pair complete. Thanks Tom
  8. Hi, I've got a pair of late headlights in very good condition which I was hoarding away as spares. Unfortunately I don't think I'll need them so time for them to go to a good home. Both are in excellent condition with all the tabs intact and adjusters moving freely. The reflectors are both good and the lenses are in good condition with no chips albeit some minor evidence of use. Nothing a bit of glass polish and elbow grease wouldn't sort though. I'd like £120 posted for the pair please. Thanks Tom
  9. Hi, I've been hoarding a VR6 steering wheel thinking one day I'll have another Corrado but it's time to have a clear out! This is a leather wheel in very good condition all round. No scuffs or leather deterioration to speak of and ready to fit. £60 posted please. Thanks Tom
  10. Hi, Ive got a VR6 engine (2.9 ABV) in bits sat in a box that I've just had to move outside my workshop to make some room. It's currently covered over in its box but it's not a great cover so it needs collecting sooner rather than later to save it getting damaged by the weather. The block is there, along with crank, 6 pistons, cylinder head, timing chain covers and a few other bits and pieces. I've no idea of the condition of the block as it was left behind by Dave16V when he moved out of the workshop. It was going to be scrapped but I thought it might be useful to someone on here for spares. First come first served - it's free!! Thanks Tom
  11. Got an OEM Corrado VR6 wheel for sale. Had issues with my aftermarket wheel for ages (horn not working) and picking this one up fixed it instantly. Can't get better than OE! Black leather, couple of scuffs but in good overall condition for a 20+ year old wheel. Pics: Price: £50 including UK postage. Ston
  12. Hi, Just dug this out of the corner of my workshop. It's a genuine VW late VR6 rear exhaust silencer, complete with tailpipe and hangers: It has however been chopped off the rest of the system with a gas axe and therefore isn't exactly 'ready to fit' - see below picture: However, with a bit of fettling and possibly an adaptor sleeve it should be fairly straightforward to get it to fit an aftermarket stainless system (and therefore retain the standard look with possibly a slightly fruitier exhaust tone) - that was the reason I bought it however I no longer own a roadworthy Corrado so have no use for it! Just looking for what I paid for it please - £30 posted. Thanks Tom
  13. Hi, While digging through my parts I've found another item I've no use for. A front cross member complete with nearly new engine mount for a 16V/8V or G60. Part number is 191199201B. Powdercoated in black with a few small storage marks. Otherwise as it came out of the oven. £30 posted please. Thanks Tom
  14. Hi, Just having a sort out and I definitely have no use for these anymore. A set of narrow-track rear beam brackets, powdercoated in black and never fitted. £20 posted please. Thanks Tom
  15. Hi, To cut a long story short I am selling a lot of the spares that I've accumulated over the years. I've basically been through and sorted out everything that I want to keep and everything that I want to sell - the items for sale are purely due to duplication (as in, I have more than one of them) or because they've already been replaced on my Corrado so *fingers crossed* I won't require them as spares! Plus, my attitude is that Id rather them go to some use than sit in my garage in a box for years. If one day I happen to need something that I've sold previously then I'll just put a wanted ad on and buy another one. I'll do my best to get things added as soon as I can in and around my shifts. All prices INCLUDE postage and packaging unless specifically stated otherwise - all items are used unless stated otherwise and any faults will be disclosed in the advert. Here goes: - A set of 4 15" genuine Corrado VR6 Speedline wheels - £SOLD - K&N 57i induction kit for Corrado VR6. Removed from my VR6 upon purchase as I have refitted the standard airbox for the simple reason that I'm not a fan of induction kits. However this is regarded to be a decent kit for the Corrado and usually retails at around £90 I believe. It is in good condition and comes complete with all fittings, instructions and even the original K&N stickers. The only thing I don't have is the cold air feed hosing which would originally have been supplied - that's very easy to get hold of though if you decide you want it. £55 posted Thanks - more to come! Tom
  16. VR6 5-stud hubs, bare, with drive flanges Here are a pair of 5-stud hubs, complete with drive flanges, ball joints, ABS sensors and disc shields, as removed from a VR6 that I broke a while back. I pressed the bearings out with the intention of powdercoating these prior to sale but never got round to it and probably never will. Ideal if you want a set to have coated before you fit them, or great to just chuck a set of new bearings in and bang on your car. The ABS sensors worked fine upon removal and they've been stored in the dry so I have no reason to think they won't know. The balljoints are good with no play and there is no wear on the drive flanges - the ABS rings are also good. Price includes postage, please PM me to arrange. Thanks! 17. Hi, Busy having a sort out of my workshop and I've got the below parts that are just in my way and of no use to me at all. Firstly, a bootlid in Flash Red. Completely bare apart from the glass and seal and in surprisingly rot free condition. The usual bit around the number plate light and number plate mounting holes but other than that pretty good. Secondly, an offside (drivers) door also in Flash Red. Complete with door trim, glass and working window regulator. In relatively good condition: Finally, a nearside (passenger) door in Midnight Blue. Just glass and regulator with this one. Removed from my VR6 and replaced with a better door prior to painting. It has corrosion on the upper outer lip and lacquer peel: As I've said, all of the parts are useless to me and I'm trying to make space so they need to go. I don't want anything for them but I want them gone ASAP, it seems a shame to throw them in the skip but that'll happen soon. They're also going to be stored outside for the time being so will deteriorate pretty quickly if someone doesn't rescue them. Collection only from my workshop in Derbyshire postcode DE7 6HB. £FREE. Thanks Tom
  18. Corrado VR6 ABS ECU - 1H0 907 379 E Here is an ABS ECU as removed from a 1994 Corrado VR6. In full working order, no faults listed on Vagcom upon removal and with no sign of water damage to the electrical connections. Part number is 1H0 907 379 E. Please check compatibility before purchase. For sale as I have no use for it! One of the pictures shows two ECU's - this item is the one on the right. Price includes postage, please PM me to arrange. 19. VR6 ISV complete with pipework Here is an ISV (idle stabilisation valve), complete with all pipework, in very good condition. As removed from a VR6 that I broke a couple of years ago. It was working fine upon removal with no fault codes logged and has been dry stored since so I anticipate no issues with it. Ideal if yours is a bit dodgy! Price includes postage, please PM me to arrange. 20. Late-spec offside foglight Hi, While digging through my spares yesterday I found this, didn't realise I had it! It's a late-spec offside (drivers side) foglight, removed from my TDi before I built it. It's actually in very good condition apart from the usual hairline crack right down the middle. It's not that noticeable and doesn't really detract from the overall appearance that much. It's still watertight and the reflector inside is pretty good. Ideal to replace one of yours that might have a hole in it, or just as a spare for your parts collection. ?30 - including postage. Please PM me to arrange. 21. VW Polo sealed bearing upgrade - rear stub axles, hubs and powdercoated disc shields Here is a VW Polo 6N2 (also Ibiza/Fabia) rear sealed bearing upgrade, complete with all that is needed to bolt straight on to your Corrado. Other than discs and brakes. There are a few options with what you can do here: - Firstly, bolt it on 'as is' but just swap the ABS sensors for the ones on your car. If you're 4-stud already then great, if you're 5-stud then fit some adaptors. You'll need a 232mm rear disc from a Polo to get it working. Your carriers and calipers will bolt straight on. Even better if you've got mk4 rear calipers. - Secondly, if you're 5-stud, bolt it on 'as is' but get hold of a set of Polo 9N rear hubs. These are 5-stud and will negate the need for adaptors, but you'll need to do a bit of work to fit the Corrado ABS ring. Fit a 5-stud Polo or mk4 Golf rear disc and you're good to go. - Thirdly, do what I did and get hold of the 9N rear hubs and some Lupo GTi spacer plates then fit 256mm vented rear discs for decent braking power at the back of the car. - Fourthly, machine up a ring and press it onto the stub axle to allow you to run mk4 Golf hubs. This was something I considered but didn't chance to do. It'll negate the need for any work on the 9N hubs and make things a bit easier. The way to do this is detailed in the VR6 build thread in my signature. The advantage of this set-up is that it gets rid of the original rear wheel bearing design and makes disc changes a lot easier as you don't have to dismantle the bearings every time. The set-up is all in good condition, a bit of surface rust on the stub axles but nothing a good wire brush or shotblast wouldn't sort out. I had the disc shields powdercoated and the bearings in the hubs are in good condition. The ABS sensors do work but will only work with later Teves20 systems. Basically ready to fit with whatever option you decide to go for after the relevant work. Price includes postage, please PM me to arrange. 22. VR6 engine covers, undamaged, complete with fixings Hi, I kept these with the intention of fitting them to my VR6 but sold the car before I got round to it. They're a full set of VR6-DOHC engine covers, in very good, completely undamaged condition. Complete with all fixings, I've given the main cover a bit of a clean up but with a tiny bit more effort it'll come up lovely. Ideal to replace your broken/tired engine covers or to clean up as part of your concours build! All the little clips/lead clamps etc are present and correct. Price includes postage - ?30 Thanks Tom List Date: 7/8/2015 For more info, click here to view the original listing: VR6 engine covers, undamaged, complete with fixings -------------------------------------- SOLD -------------------------------------- Mobile friendly version: VR6 engine covers, undamaged, complete with fixings Go Mobile: Download the free Panjo iOS app now!
  23. x 3 late-spec N/S indicators Hi, I've found these three nearside (passenger side) late-spec indicators in my parts collection. One of them is in very good condition, the other two have cracks but are still usable. Ideal if you're running a track car or even a show car as a daily and don't want to risk damaging your mint indicators. Very easy to remove so you could put your good ones on when you get to the shows. ?20 posted for all three together. 24. Passat B4 Teves20 ABS upgrade kit Hi, It's time for me to start clearing out the vast amount of Corrado spares and other VW parts that I've amassed over the years. First on the list is this, a Teves20 ABS upgrade kit. It includes: Teves20 ABS pump and ECU combined Full wiring loom Master cylinder x 2 ABS lights This has been fully tested and works as it should. The reason I know this is because when I was building my VR6 back in 2013 I carried out the upgrade using parts from another Passat but it wasn't working. I found this set-up in a local scrappers and removed it then temporarily installed the loom and pump in my car to troubleshoot issues. It turns out the issue with mine was a crossed wire in the loom which I sorted out, so this loom and pump was removed and put into storage at my workshop. I've got no use for it now so it's time to go. It comes with x 2 combined ABS/SRS lights. These are very hard to come by and they're ideal for the Corrado as you just need to remove the front cover and replace it with your Corrado ABS light cover. The only issue is that neither of these work correctly and will require a new bulb soldering in place. I'm not a soldering expert so I've left them well alone, but if you're good with that or know someone who is then it'll be a straightforward enough fix. The master cylinder will fit directly to a Corrado servo but you'll need to blank off the ABS position sensor (or just leave it in place, unplugged). Alternatively, source a servo from a B4 Passat. Unfortunately the one from the scrappers had already gone when I got the rest of the set-up. The only other thing you'll need are Polo 6N2 rear sensors. Your standard Corrado front sensors will work fine. There are several threads on the forum (including my TDi and VR6 build threads) that detail this set-up and give some idea of how to fit it. Will fit all Corrado's, not just VR's. Benefits include an improved pedal feel, removal of quite a lot of ABS wiring as this loom is much simpler and removal of the separate pump/ECU as this unit has it all combined as one plus better reliability overall. Works well when combined with the 288mm front/mk4 rear brake upgrades. Price includes postage - ?70. Please PM me to arrange that. 25. Corrado early-spec N/S foglight, in good condition Here is an early-spec foglight, designed for the early spec bumpers - G60, 16V etc. May fit some VERY early VR6's. It's in very good condition, the lens is uncracked and unchipped. The rear casing has surface rust but the bulb and internal reflector is all good. The adjuster moves and works as it should. Bought by mistake when I was still new to Corrado's and didn't know there was a difference between late and early spec...oops. (Sorry about the light in the first picture, photography never was my strong point!) Price includes postage, please PM me to arrange.
