Hi could someone give me a run down on the performance figures for the 2.0 16v, the g60 and vr6 standard will do, as im after a corardo now and have upto 4k to spend so was thinkin the g60 would be the best bet unless some1 can change my mind :lol:

£4k should buy you a vr6, and imo they r the best of the bunch. certainly the quickest and with the best sounding engine.

 

g60 for that money will get you a goodun, but it wont have the kick of the vr6

8.9 to 60 for the g60 sounds very slow, ive had a golf mk2 16v, a mk1 golf with 140bhp and a mk1 toyota mr2 and i would of expected the corardo to be faster than the lot :?: im slightly disapointed.

 

would any1 know of a vr6 or g60 for sale then in my price range can have the money by weekend for a good example g60 or vr6 only :?:

G60 gearing makes its 0-60 time look terrible - at the traffic light GP, you won't beat a lot of similarly powered cars. The G60's strength lies whilst on the move and in gear - comes into its own once in 3rd gear and beyond :)

 

A look at Henny's times helps back this up - suspected around 250BHP on his mega tuned G60, 0-60 is still 'only' 7 seconds - standing 1/4 mile however is around 13.4 seconds which is fapping quick.

does it represent good value what about the dating on the mots, i never bought off ebay before but getting to see it b4 the end of auction could be hard work as it is tomoro.

THEY DID ITS SERVICING AT THOSE MILEAGES NOT THE MOTS, THERE ARE OTHER RECEIPTS FOR WORK CARRIED OUT BY THEM... I THINK ITS JUST A STANDARD CHARGER, CHANGED AT 107k MILES. THE COST TO REPAIR THE ARCH IS APPROX £30-£50 IF THAT, I'VE ALREADY BOUGHT THE PAINT.
