Quick question for Aberdeen Owners

Recommended Posts

Hello, new to this forum, was wondering if anyone knows of a good garage in Aberdeen area who can carry out a wheel alignment. The car sits quite low on coilovers and as well as getting the wheels aligned I wanted the camber adjusted as well. Have spoken to Checkpoint who say they can do it but not too sure how well, and also Speacialist Cars who charge a premium for it.

It will go to Specialist or down to Star when I have fitted reconditioned front hubs and Tarox discs I am waiting for in probably a month or so, but wanted to get it set meantime to save the new tyres.

Also another question slightly off topic! Has anyone fitted a late VR6 Corrado dash in to a Mk2 Golf before as was wondering the parts needed (sensors etc) to allow the digital mileometer to work.

Thanks in advance,

Martin

welcome to the site mr roberts :D

if its just for a wee while you could try Law's Tyres in BoD....as one of the G-60 guys(struan the bouncer) on here got them to check/adjust his alignment on his lowered C(approx £20-ish)....Kenway Tyres won't look at anything thats been lowered so i'm told too

anyway happy hunting

Cheers Roddy, know that some of the Tyre places aren't too keen on adjusting camber as would like as much negative as possible but it is one to keep in mind and will give them a shout. :)
