dash colouring

hi people i heard of something called recolinisation i think it when something like a dash is sprayed a different colour and some sort of laquer put on to it and the out come is suppossed to be top class, anyone have experience with this- i putting a beige leather interior into c and a beige dash would look so much better than a black one any prices and people who do this

never heard of it tbh.........but if its anything like the rubber paint that went on to my leather seats to give them the "as good as new" look then i would avoid it........best getting the dash done in leather if you want to get the WOWWW factor i'm sure A20 LEE could advise you as to how much this would cos approx but tbh i wouldn't do it in Beige :wink:

I enquired with MJ Interiors before buying the porsche interior off G60Renshaw about having my interior retrimmed. To trim the dash in leather was around £800 IIRC

Re-Connolisation is the restoration/cleaning/feeding of original leather trim and isn't really what you're looking for. I know of a trimmer who would trim your dash for you, he did some work on a Peugeot I had, top class and very reasonable.

ah the penny drops...........i thought he was meaning some weird and wonderful thing to do with a "colin" (recolinisation)
