deag 0 Posted October 25, 2004 Hi, I've a problem with my main beam indicator (blue bulb in dash) It doesn't light up fully when main beam is on (it's lit up, but very very faintly). It does however light up properly when the stalk is pulled back to turn main beam on or off. Happened to anyone else? I'm thinking it's something in the switch contacts? Any ideas? Is this an easy thing to fix? does it involve removal of the steering wheel? cheers, deag.
Henny 0 Posted October 25, 2004 yeah, mine's not very bright either... I'll have a look at it on Wednesday night when I strip my dash apart again... (don't ask...  ) Only thing is I won't be able to post up what I find until monday 'cos I'm going away for a long weekend...

h100vw 0 Posted October 26, 2004 Bally the loom shouldn't affect the warning light. If I get chance I'll have a look where the feed comes from in the Bentley, I suspect it'll be fed off one of the main beam fuses somehow. Gavin
chubbybrown 0 Posted October 26, 2004 As far as I know it will stop the light on the switch working when you nudge it to headlights but why would it affect the blue dash bulb ? are they easy to swop ?
