bigbluec 0 Posted October 28, 2004 Hi guys have finished putting heater matrix back in car today but when it came to reconnecting the bowden cables i realised that i had forgotten where they go :oops: have managed to work out where the blue and long black cable connect but can't seem to see where the third short black cable which i guess controls the flap to the windscreen de mist goes. have had a look at all pics and advice i could find by searching but no joy. Tattie 0 Posted October 31, 2004 from bentley manual. long black to central flap (mode) door lever. This is the one at the bottom of the heater matrix short black to heater/defroster control flap. As far as I can tell this attaches about half way up the heater matrix on the side (pics aren't that good) blue to air blend (temperature) flap. This looks to be at the bottom too. Next to the clip that holds in place the cable for the 'mode' lever.
